Re: God of War
thx, i'll hold off i think, enjoying the story and hearing you can go back and do side stuff afterwards is great.

Re: God of War
And unlike most games it doesn't really feel weird or bad to stuff after the main story is done.
Which is refreshing, most games doing side stuff in my experience after the story just feels wrong but here it works well.

You're right, I haven't actually played the game, yet. I pretty much just referenced what some of my friends have been saying about the game. Thought that would tick you off, since you tend to get riled up whenever someone says something about a game you've played that isn't positive Will start on GoW, as soon as I'm done with Yakuza. I'm a big fan of Norse mythology, myself.

How far into the game am I Mole by your estimation? I feel like I've played for 10-15 hours but I also feel like there's hopefully quite a lot left?
I'm at
trying to pace myself so the game lasts at least a week

Depends on how much exploring you do really, but I think I was there on Saturday night or Sunday morning.
So you've still got a lot to do.

Re: God of War
Nice. I'm taking the same approach I do with all non-linear games, explore and do as much side content as possible before going through the main story.
Only reason I was wondering how far in I was is since I've got the vast majority of skill upgrades now, only a couple left unless more show up later. Although maybe that's the point since the combat system is quite deep, give you a lot of time to master it.

Re: God of War
Yeah as long as you don't feel massively underlevelled you should explore as much possible tbh.
Mainly because you get really nice bonuses/gear and shit tonnes of hacksilver and XP, I have over 200k in hacksilver lmao.

not at all, you can jump right in. If anything, you can watch a 20 minutes summary of god of war story on YT. I did just that to freshen myself up story wise

Muspelheim trials
- Spoiler:
- Dat 100 kill one, so satisfying to actually do that. Don't usually find challenge stuff that entertaining but the combat here makes it so fun.

The one where you have to avoid a hit took me like 1 hour lol

Re: God of War
I did a bunch of those trials last night but got kinda bored, gonna save it for when I'm done with the story, even though it's probably best to spread them out, think I made it until halfway through the third set.
Also unlocked..some extra stuff on the skill tree, you guys that made it like halfway or more (I reckon I'm like halfway or 70% through by now) know what I mean..the combat in this game is too damn satisfying, probably my favourite ever. I don't want it to end.

- Did that first try It's quite easy if you equip the Murder of Crows Runic attack with electric arrows for Atreus as it just shocks them all in place.
Haven't done the Valkyrie yet though.

- Dunno about that but i just did the one at the top of Muspelheim, god he was a *bleep* *bleep*.
Felt really good to finally kill it though, the animation they do expressed my feelings towards it accurately.

I didn't mean the boss fight. I didnt even know we have to fight him.
I meant when you are trying to free him and he is being a pos with lightning attack

Oh that, that's a different Dragon.
I found it pretty easy to avoid the lightning attack, the issues i had was the enemies you have to kill while the lightning is going off around you.
I died quite a lot to one of them.
