Where do you even find pristine scales of the realm? too many pieces of the late game sets need it

Complete realm tears, not all of them drop them though.

Honestly can't say I had an issue with grind or anything, most I did was like 8-10 run throughs of Nilfheim but that aside I did nothing.

You must not have upgraded much late game gear. Even in terms of hacksilver there are plenty of pieces that cost 100000+.

The materials from Muspelheim take a ton of grinding as well.

My friend said that if you dismantle or sell some sort of armour, you get pristine scales from it. Try that.

Nah I just looked it up. Had avoided any guides this whole time but had to find this. Apparently there is only 1 chest that contains them in the game. Going there now.

yeah, i personally did not spend much on armor until very late in the game, something i learned from JRPG, it's always better to grind through the game with low level armor for the first few hours until you have access to elite armor you can spend all your exp on.

I went for the Nilfheim armors, which is easy to unlock and then i maxed it out. soul gems are not too hard to collect, you can get like 10,000 gems per run

I upgraded all of the Valkyrie set and one of the Mist set.

Didn't see the point in making a 3rd or more sets tbh lol.

Maybe it would be a grind to do that but I don't see the point.

To try different things.

I upgraded Ivaldi's cause you need it for Niflheim but found it worse than Sindri's, Valkyrie's or Muspelheim's so I tried those to see which one I liked most.

Plus the talismans, pommels, etc.

The upgraded and completed gauntlet of the ages is awesome if anyone missed it.

Other than different stats and look there's not much point imo. Valkyrie gear aside most of them have very similar bonus abilities as well.

When you've done one set of mist or muspelheim I don't see the point in crafting the others as they are very similar except for look and some difference in stats.

I can see why you think it's a grind, what you are trying to do is make 6 different gear sets of course it's going to be a grind.

Ivaldi's only gives you a small amount of HP regen. Its mostly empty stats. Its nothing like the rest.

Its the worst of the lot except for the mist requirement.

I really don't think armour makes that much of a difference.

Tons of difference as you do the postgame.

Any of the 4 end game sets will do enough but the postgame without them is much harder.

Some of the stats and abilities they give you are specially useful too

Agree with this, you won't beat the Valkyrie Queen without fully upgraded legendary(or epic can't remember what's better lol) armor tbh.

But you only really need one of them.
