Every U-20 World Cup the same thing happens lol. It'd be a much better experience playing with the CFC senior squad than playing with the 3rd/4th hell even 5th tier of youngsters in that age-group.
We had no problem letting Kakuta go for instance ( the Chelsea coaches rate him and Josh both equally) because the French FA actually take the competition seriously.
So would I, but the senior squad and the u21 don't have a game till September. I could name you a good few players that would benefit from playing the likes of France, Spain and other South American teams. The FA are fecking clueless; after our poor showing at the World Cup and u21's; I'm baffled about their stance in regards to the u20's. Ignorance is a bliss.

Kiko ruined his career plane and simple. From an undisputed starter of mallorca to play for a second division team.what a waste of talent it is.
Re: Fifa U-20 World Cup
So how does everyone feel about Kakuta being the most talented player in this competition?
Fully agreed with this.

Perhaps before speaking with such conviction you should get your facts right...
He played for Hercules, who were relegated. If he stayed with them he would have been playing in the same league as Barca B anyway. Barca B were one of the best teams in Segunda last year as well. Hercules and Mallorca... big difference.
Secondly, he was never an 'undisputed starter'. At Barca B, he will be a very important player in the team.
So on the whole... its not a bad move. How can you blame him. He gets a chance to prove himself in one of the best youth teams around and potentially a shot at the big time with Barca. He'll probably get a decent salary too. Better than moving to a La Liga team where he won't play... if he does well and Barca don't want him, he's free to fly from there.

Re: Fifa U-20 World Cup
so you are saying a move from La liga to sugenda isnt a big deal for a young potential player like him? just lol.

Re: Fifa U-20 World Cup
Kiko's proven in La Liga already. Don't see why he'll need to go back to the Segunda.
Don't think that would ruin his career, though.

Wait.. he should be playing for Algeria (and to think we almost actually had a striker..)!!!
He may very well play for Algeria. He will probably never cut it to the French NT.
I hope Lacazette and Reale will be starters.

Lacazette wasn't even an automatic starter in the U-19 Euros last summer if I remember correctly

Lacazette is not the star of the team. He did not start a match in the U19 euro despite scoring 4 goals.
Lacazette is probably the best player of the team but Tafer, Sunu, Griezmann or Bakumbu will probably get the starting spot.
The Lyon starters (Tafer, Grenier, Faure) are the worst of the one we send. This is odd.

Re: Fifa U-20 World Cup
Sunu wont start, he barely started for Lorient. but who knows. I do hope We see Lacazette and Sunu/Bakacumbu upfront though.
Griezmann had an excellent season with sociedad, he will start for sure. Coquelin will start along with Fofana.
might see a 4-2-3-1

Sunu did not play at Lorient, Lacazette did not play at Lyon and Tafer did not play with Toulouse and Bakambu did not play with Sochaux.
Not very bright.... But at least Lacazette scored and he really deserved more playing time.

Re: Fifa U-20 World Cup
I don't even want to see Brazil's U-20 side.. imo. They choke in the semis.
No Lucas, No Neymar, No title. Thats the only reason why we won the U-20 South American Qualifiers.
On ze backs of Neymar and Lucas
and I love all of that prime Guadeloupean talent on the French squad. Sak Pase
