To me the only debatables were Alonso and Pique. Falcao should not be there. Ibra was clearly the best striker of 2012 imo.

Who else other than Alves? Lahm? I don't even like the guy, but he was the best that season.

I don't rate Ramos and idk maybe he is debatable but he did have a great season although a very inconsistent one. I agree it's a shame Barzagli wasn't there.

And Marcelo was the best, deal with it Only Ashley Cole can make a case for it, but he didn't soooo... deal with it

Ramos is/was one of the best CB's in the World. Important for both Real Madrid and Spain.

Alba should be there.

I felt Barzagli, Kompany, Chiellini and Hummels all were better than Ramos.

As for Alves, yes i do think Lahm was better over the year he's not better but in 2012 i think he was.

Honestly Lichtsteiner was better than Alves too in fact if i had to pick someone i would pick him.

Alba is even worse than Marcelo at defending and can't even bench Adriano ffs, not that Adriano is terrible but if he was better than Marcelo then he should be able to bench Adriano ffs.

And mt, Ramos can't even outperform Carvalho ffs. Carvalho has put out our best CB performance so far into the season (basicly the only CB we have that has put up a 10/10 performance). Our CBs are crap and none of them should be there, maybe Pepe for his great euro performance if Iniesta's euro performance was enough to win the best player of Europe.

What a *bleep* disgrace. Talk about bias. Pirlo deserves a spot on that team and everyone knows it.

Alba starts every game he is available, he has been great. He is also twice the defender Marcelo is easily.

He has though..... most of the games Adriano plays is at RB and that was while Alves was injured/lacking form. There's not many games Alba has missed.

Alba was the best LB at the Euros and he's been pretty great this season IMO.

It's debateable to me, Marcelo was better in first half of 2012 but Alba has been better in the 2nd half.

Anyway as i said i'll let you have it But there's no way IMO that Ramos and Alves should be there.

It's not like Marcelo can't defend at all. He can defend, it's just occasionally he makes mistakes.

For some reason when other top LB's make mistakes they aren't blamed etc.

Even if that was the case, Marcelo is still better attacker than him so he is the better player
