I have a feeling France takes this tournament. They are starting to play better and they won the Euro U-19 last year. Solid team who knows how to win tournaments. Before the Columbia debacle, they hadn't lost a game in over 2 years.

Spain's youth midfield and attacking talent is second to none... Brazil's is better; but they've all been called up to the top NT lol. Defensively, very meh imo. Other than Carvajal, nobody has impressed me at all with the U-20 and U-19 teams. They're also not very physical as a team.

Brazil is not a bad matchup for Spain actually, because the defense for Brazil is meh imo. But once they fact a tough and physical team, there will be a lot of problems.

I can see Argentina going past Portugal without too much struggle considering Portugal needed a penalty to get past Guatemala. Hopefully our starting CBs are back because they are frakking beasts. 1 goal conceded all tournament to a penalty.

Nigeria won't make it past France. I'm calling it now. Only seen France at 60%... we tend to play to the level of the competition unfortunately. We will be up for this one.

Most dangerous stages for all French teams is the pool rounds and easy opponents in early elimination rounds. Once we make it past those, we suddenly seem to wake up and become really tough. You don't see a lot of 1/8 final or 1/4 final losses for french teams. It's either a disaster or at least a semi-final. No in between lol.
