Nigeria played Saudo Arabia, Guatemala and a complete shit Croatia (finished last in the group). Then they got England in the elimination round and squeaked by with a 1-0 win. Pools were very uneven in this world cup. France had to play Columbia, Korea and Ecuador so far. Only truly easy one was Mali.

Quality of opponent is a big factor.
