FIFA Club World Cup

Well, the competition we've all been anticipating since May is finally among us. In less than a week and a half, Chelsea could be the new club champions of the world

Chelsea will enter the competition at Semifinal stage. Here is a breakdown of CFC's matches:
Semifinal
December 13 - against the winner of the Ulsan Hyundai vs Monterrey Quarterfinal 4 days before
Final
December 15 - against most likely Corinthians
And for a more comprehensive, visual analysis:

In today's first round playoff for entry into the quarterfinals, Japanese League Champions and tournament hosts Sanfrecce Hiroshima defeated OFC Champions League winners Aukland City 1-0. They'll now play CAF Champions League winners Al-Ahly in the quarterfinals, which take place on December 9.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
It's certainly a possibility. The team has looked far from convincing under decent opposition, and when the only striker going on the trip is Fernando fecking Torres, there's no guarantee we'll win this.Ganso wrote:Benitez lost to Sao Paulo in 2005,wouldn't be surprised if you guys lost to Corinthians

Will definitely try to stay up/wake up early for the Final (assuming we get there...). Semifinal....we'll see

Most likely I will though. Haven't missed a Chelsea game in over 2 years now. No sense breaking that streak now!
