Well, the competition we've all been anticipating since May is finally among us. In less than a week and a half, Chelsea could be the new club champions of the world :bow:


Chelsea will enter the competition at Semifinal stage. Here is a breakdown of CFC's matches:


Semifinal

December 13 - against the winner of the Ulsan Hyundai vs Monterrey Quarterfinal 4 days before


Final

December 15 - against most likely Corinthians

In today's first round playoff for entry into the quarterfinals, Japanese League Champions and tournament hosts Sanfrecce Hiroshima defeated OFC Champions League winners Aukland City 1-0. They'll now play CAF Champions League winners Al-Ahly in the quarterfinals, which take place on December 9.

It's certainly a possibility. The team has looked far from convincing under decent opposition, and when the only striker going on the trip is Fernando fecking Torres, there's no guarantee we'll win this.
