Not true. He is CONSTANTLY ridiculed for not winning a PL, but most people blame Pool for never putting a great team around him consistently.

Well that would push the EPL powers to adjust if they lose a CL spot... Or you would hope. Make the refs allow for less physicality for example.

Sevilla 2 consecutive EL winners. Valencia are a good team. They're not elite but I think they could hold their own and possibly win against most top teams in other leagues (exceptions being Juve, PSG, Bayern and that's it?)

Valencia and Sevilla are all that and then some. You have Atleti that's right behind Madrid and Barca... and then those 2. The Basque teams (Real Sociedad and Bilbao) go thru cycles pretty regularly too. Villareal isn't anything to sneeze at either.

Not really i said back then when everyone laughed at LOL Liga as i was a fan of spanish football at the time that CL results prove absolutely nothing that English league is the best etc.

It's an opinion i have always kept, i'm not switching it up because the roles have reversed. Anyone that was here at the time can back it up lol.

CL is at max a 15 game competition with a KO format, where as a league is a 38 game competition with the winner being decided at the end after an accumulation of points.

They two are completely irrelevant from each other and always have been, not a clue why people put so much stock into one effecting the other as they are both completely seperate.
