Joke of a league.  

It's like none of the general managers in the league actually know how to do there job and build an actual team.  I don't know where they find these guys.  They cost these teams unimaginable amounts of money.

I don't know what's worse, the fact that La Liga is the vastly superior product (hence it should be easy to sell the league) yet has the marketing skills of a 5 year old.

Or the horrendous amounts of money poured into the mule league and they can't even build competitive teams.

Both are a massive fail.

It really is an awful league.

I said earlier this summer that PL is 4th or 5th best European league at best, and got a talking to and almost a warning.

It's utter turd...when a pathetic Chelsea side of last year literally walked the league (same with City this year will do), you know you're in trouble.

There is no midfield control, no game-management, no smart players......best players in the league or those who can't get into 18 men squad of La Liga giants. that says it all.

It's time people realized all leagues are *bleep* crap and the only good standard is Quarter finals of CL and beyond.

Except that it's not.

La Liga is by far away the best league in the world. 8th placed scrubs in La Liga like Bilbao will comfortably finish top 4 in England.

Relegation battlers in La Liga like Einar will be easily mid-table here.

Teams like Liverpool and Spurs will struggle to make top half iN La Liga, yet are lauded to challenge for top 4 finish in EPL every single season.

a club with net spend of 60 MILLION EUROS this summer sits bottom of the Premier League now. Just imagine if the bottom club in Spain was allowed to spend that....they'd shit all over any team in england.

It's really crazy.

When you watch EPL games you don't really notice how much the style of play is a detriment to preparing them for Europe and how little they get punished for giving the ball away over and over and over again.

Not to mention the teams in the CL have players most of these other teams would love to have on there rosters (See Cuadrado starting for Juve).

I mean I know we all joke about it being the Mule league etc but all of these teams have managers who have done well in Europe and players too.  Plus the money at there disposal, how in the world does a league fall this far this fast.

It really is crazy.  At least in Italy you had the scandal with Juve and the lack of funding to build competitive teams when they lost there 4th place spot.

But the EPL there is no excuse what so ever.

One other thing that English team lack , is proper managers. Look at the managers they have in Europe:

Mourinho - Washed out and has never been able to take an English team far in Europe. his style of football is suited best to non-English teams in Europe

LVG- Absolute chancer whose most recent european glory (not counting the one before half the GL was born) was due to Robben wonder goals bailing him out.

Wenger- Less said about him in Europe, the better

Pellegrini- A Chilean Mark Hughes. the more money he has, the worse he performs. His best success been at small clubs

Rodgers- LMAOOOOO. Comfortably worst manager in Europe an English team has EVER had.

Pochetino- Who ?



When England dominated Europe in late 00s, they had a refreshed Mourinho, a resilient benitez, a wounded Ferguson wanting to prove himself in Europe, and a Wenger who upped his game after seeing he's surrounded by such greatness.

Those days are gone. the only way is down.
