Mrs Hubbard is one manipulative cow tho. Wouldnt be at all surprised if she knew Fatboy wouod die in that car only to brain wash her son into thinking the Mitchell are the enemy. She couldnt even remember when her husband died ffs. I bet she got dumped and thats why she hates them

anyone seen that sci fi show the expanse? if so, worth it? i know sci fi get a bad rep and all but this seems to have a few stars attached that I'm a fan of, and I remember watching the first season of Defiance a few years ago and enjoying it (might need to pick that up again since it ended)

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 4
Yeah, also heard good things about Making a Murderer. Though the story itself is supposed to be unbelievable.
It looks promising and the last available episode is the best one so far. So watch the first four episodes and decide then. It has already been renewed for a second season.

Saw episode 1 of Making a Murderer. Fantastic documentary.
Really *bleep* up what this poor fella went through. And it looks like it's gonna get worse.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 4
Funny thing about Making a Murderer is it takes place in my home county. I grew up listening to this case in grade school. Mind you I didn't give much of a crap back then, being a kid and all.
I haven't seen it, but everyone around me is desperately trying to discredit the series because nobody around here wants to believe our justice system is crooked. I have an open mind, though I personally haven't seen our police/justice system ever do anything wrong.
What I will tell you is whatever picture they paint of Avery I hope you guys aren't sympathetic to him as a person. Don't call him poor fella. I am not decided on whether justice has been carried out correctly, but I do know that he is a piece of trash and a terrible human.
Also no doubt in my mind the documentary has a certain agenda it's trying to push and I would keep that in mind when watching it. That's all I'll say until I get to watching it.

Since finishing the docu I've read things like the makers of MaM failed to cover some evidence that was used by the prosecutors. And that Steven burned his cat for kicks, or something of that nature.
Possibly an agenda was being set. But still, it doesn't negate the fact that it's an astounding documentary.

That prosecutor The fat ******* is the most annoying person I've ever heard. He's an exact copy of Vernon Dursley.
