Yea thought that too. But maybe he is being added for his goals so Rodgers might consider him as a forward anyways with Sturridge and Balotelli (seems like he is staying?) already there.

You can always sign another striker but I don't think he will be anyone over 20m unless some big opportunity came.

He's not been a consistent enough scorer to be our answer at CF. Same number of goals last season as Sterling (with a few more total assists) and plays in similar roles to Sterling as well. We'll still be after a striker who can guarantee us something closer to 1-in-2 rather than the 1-in-3 or so that Firmino has maintained in his time in Germany.
