Di Marzio report that the Dzeko deal may be dead since we won't raise our offer from the 15m we bid to the 35m (30 + bonus) City want for him. City can go kick rocks tbf. We're not that desperate for a striker that we'd pay stupid EPL monopoly money for one.

Same source reports that we we've turned our attention to Venezuela's Salomon Rondon, who has a solid scoring record in the Super League with Zenit and in Europe.....wait a minute...that sounds familiar.... Zenit do want at least 22m for him though according to Sky Italia.

From Bacca to Dzeko to Rondon .....Milan aren't the only ones getting trolled this mercato. That's for sure.

Let's just get a fullback or 2 and get Sirigu from PSG while keeping 1 of Destro/Doumbia. We do that and I'm good with this mercato.

AS reports that Atleti might be willing to let him go to Roma on loan with either a buy-back or take back option inserted should we move to make his stay permanent.

Yes. He is on  his way out. LvG hasnt picked him for the pre season tour to US.
Multiple Injuries led to his downfall sadly. Had the potential to develop into a mainstay. But so is his injury record that he gets injured in every alternate game to the point its understandable if he(lvg) is frustrated with him.
But still would have preferred him over Valencia any day. LvG sadly doesnt and valencia it seems IS our backup RB.

As for Rafa he still can develop into a quality player in another ambiance with some luck. Hope he does. Will cheer for him wherever he goes. Good luck to you guys in signing him. will forever be a fan favorite for us.

Should forget Dzeko if hes price is so high. Sign Mitrovic and keep Destro in Rome.
