No he isn't. Let's calm down with the hype yeah. Pedri has immense potential but that's about it for now. There is alot in his game that needs improving before we can start comparing him with players who've done things you only hopes he can achieve

I remember alot of teams looking into him because he had an interesting profile but nothing that overly stood out. His best record was 9 goals and 11 assists a few seasons ago granted he now plays alot in midfield although he plays on the wings and up top alot still.

That Monaco team that reached the semis was stacked with talent but those who really stood out were Mbapay, Falcao and probably Moutinho. Bernardo had 2 goals and 1 assist in that CL run playing as a RW.

Not saying He's a bad player at all but I just don't see the hype

If you go read the post match reaction again you’ll see that after Mbappe it was players like Bernardo who got the most hype. There’s a reason he was signed for like 50M that very summer.
