Re: Bernardo Silva : the next Portuguese star ?
() Increasingly getting difficult for Barcelona to get Silva. As days are passing, there’s been no movement. City will NOT speak about selling him unless the fee can be b/w €90M-€100M. The player would like a Barça move, but won’t force anything. @martinezferran #Transfers

You have the top 2 Portuguese players in your team. Both Ronaldo and Fernandes are better attacking players than Silva.Firenze wrote:fuck sake, GET IT DONE. Hate this little rat. Too good.

Fernandes
One season wonder, not even good enough to tie Bernardo's boots.

Manchester City have a Bernardo Silva replacement lined up just in case the transfer happens.

Even though Ferran Soriano has denied it, Barça and Manchester City have spoken about Bernardo Silva again tonight. It's complicated, but possible.

It's quite telling that Silva is in his prime, wants to leave, doesn't mind where he goes and you are the only team after him
Luxury system player
I don't think DeJong is better than him as they are two different types of players which is like calling Casemiro superior to DeJong for example which is a waste of time
Pedri v Silva would be more apt and Pedri has the potential to be better in a few seasons

Bernardo and a few of the City players would be unknown today if it weren't for the way Pep sets up his City team.
I can't think of anything he excels at, note I didn't say is good at but excels at
Portuguese Isco imo with better workrate

No he isn't. Let's calm down with the hype yeah. Pedri has immense potential but that's about it for now. There is alot in his game that needs improving before we can start comparing him with players who've done things you only hopes he can achieveMyesyats wrote:It's time for either of the oil teams to win CL. He can be better than Iniesta for sure. It’s a shame he didn’t come from la masia

He wasn't unknown before joining City. He already had a lot of hype from being the player of the season in the stacked Monaco team that reached the CL semi final.
If anything, joining city turned him into just another disciplined cog in Guardiola's machine. He would've had more recognition and better individual highlights had he joined a less tactically rigid team, like Madrid for instance.

Re: Bernardo Silva : the next Portuguese star ?
I remember alot of teams looking into him because he had an interesting profile but nothing that overly stood out. His best record was 9 goals and 11 assists a few seasons ago granted he now plays alot in midfield although he plays on the wings and up top alot still.farfan wrote:halamadrid2 wrote:farfan wrote:I'm sorry Hala but if you think Bernardo is a system player then you don't really know what the term means He's literally the opposite of that. That Monaco team that reached the semis was stacked with talent but those who really stood out were Mbapay, Falcao and probably Moutinho. Bernardo had 2 goals and 1 assist in that CL run playing as a RW.
Not saying He's a bad player at all but I just don't see the hype

If you go read the post match reaction again you’ll see that after Mbappe it was players like Bernardo who got the most hype. There’s a reason he was signed for like 50M that very summer.
