Mata is probably a better player in this very moment, but only because he's had the opportunity to be a the center of his team for quite a while. I think Ozil has more innate talent, I like the way he moves, how he can just leave people rooted to the floor.

For us, Ozil is more valuable. Isco does most of the things Mata does, intuition tells me his final ball and scoring would be similarly augmented by a move to the PL. All in all I'm comfortable with him instead of Mata, particularly if asked to choose between Mata and a talent like Ozil.
