Re: Bernardo Silva : the next Portuguese star ?
Was going to City a mistake? I don't think he started a single game yet.

That's too early to say, wouldn't be the first player to hardly start for a big team and eventually becomes a key player.

Re: Bernardo Silva : the next Portuguese star ?
He started against West Brom in the cup game and provide an assist for the winner.
Is usually the first sub to be made and has about 1 goal and 3-4 assist. The problem is the players in front of him at the moment are all playing really well so it’s hard for him to get into the first XI, David Silva has 1 goal 8 assists, while Sterling has 8 goals and about 3-4 assists.
Nevertheless blue moon forum is usually raving about him and hoping Pep lets him start today. He’ll be starting the cup game on Wednesday for sure tho.

Gotta give credit to Cowardiola, he managed to turn him into a fine midfielder.

He plays well when the whole team plays well and he goes into hiding when the team needs him to summon something special. Look at his Portugal performances ffs, the beta never shows up.

Thought his topic needed some love.
Fantastic player, easily one of City best players along with Sterling. Example to many attacking/flair players out there with his amazing work rate on and off the ball.

I don't like him, but I can't disagree with you. He's efficient with everything he does.
Re: Bernardo Silva : the next Portuguese star ?
When he first joined, he struggled to break in the team and physically he seems so small and not ready, but credit to him and to Pep able to improve this side of his game so much, he now works and tackles just like any tough midfielder, and also his shooting, whereas at Monaco he was felt more elegant type without having to do dirty work, so big credit to both of them.

Re: Bernardo Silva : the next Portuguese star ?
You are mistaken. 16/17 is arguably his best campaign in a Madrid jersey.

I don't know how this guy can just keep running. I was City best player this season played himself to the ground.

14/15 he was a great part of an awesome team in the first half of the season, and the single best player of the team in the second half when everyone else was terrible

His work ethic is absolutely amazing. Simply does let up and puts in an honest shift. Great footballer really, no wonder Pep likes him.

Why is he out of favour all of a sudden for both club and country?
