I guess a 'thank you' would be in order.

That just shows the mental strength of the team more than anything. If you cant recover after being humbled by a top side, you have no business competing for the league.

Roberto Donadoni said Gonzalo Higuain and Napoli director Riccardo Bigon used “disgusting phrases” after a 2-2 draw with Parma.

There was real tension after the final whistle at the Stadio Tardini, as Higuain had to be dragged away as he exchanged insults with goalkeeper Antonio Mirante.

It’s also reported that in the tunnel director Bigon got into a row with Parma player Daniele Galloppa.

“I was there and I heard what was said after the game,” Donadoni told Sport Mediaset.

“Having people tell us we should lose just because we’re bankrupt and already relegated is disgusting and shameful.

“It wasn’t just Higuain, but a few others said the same on the field during the game. When you hear something like that from a director, though, it’s a real tragedy.

“This is all incredible. I don’t want to name names, as if I have something to say to these people, I’ll do it to their faces.”

Despite being doomed to Serie B – or being wiped off the football map – Parma have put together some great results in recent weeks, beating leaders Juventus and holding Napoli.

“What does the future hold? Only God knows,” continued Donadoni. “For now the squad has taken a 75 per cent cut in the money owed.

“We fought hard and held our heads against Napoli. That’s the important thing.”

Napoli released a statement. “All the protests at the final whistle were exclusively based on the continual time-wasting. None of these protests had anything to do with Parma’s effort, which obviously was impeccable.”

So low from Napoli..

Higuain tho Laughing

If Lazio finishes within 3rd, would the 6th placed team go to EL?

Even if it doesn't get the 3rd place though .
The 6th will go surely in EL because Lazio will finish within 6 places.

Could there be seven teams in Europe next season? If Napoli win the EL and Lazio win the cup? Then Juve, Lazio, Roma, and Napoli go to CLand the three teams below them go to EL.

Many Romanisti want him to return, but I don't see it happening. Romagnoli will likely come back, but we tend to only cap returning Romans at 1 per season so yeah....Bertolacci looks set to join the likes of Aquilani on the outside of Rome looking in.

That is incorrect. The CL place gained by winning the Europa League is an extra place. Spain would get 8 teams in Europe if Sevilla win the Europa League.

The extra place would be added only if the team that wins the EL is not qualified to Europe all together. Examples: if Napoli win the EL and finish 3rd in the league Serie A will have 3 CL teams and 3 EL team, or in other words nothing happens. If Napoli win the EL and finish 4th-6th, Serie A will get 4 CL teams and 2 in the EL. If Napoli win the EL and finish 7th only then Serie A will get 7 teams in europe with 4 in the CL and 3 in the EL

Also big thanks to Milan for playing their part in our resurgence.

Sacking Allegri thus paving the way for us,funding Tevez' purchase with the Matri signing and most importantly shooting yourselves to the ground with incompetent management.

TBF, Milan has played a huge part in Juve's resurgence.

First we let go of Pirlo who proves instrumental to Juve first two campaigns, and still plays well for them.

Second, we buy Matri, nearly completely funding Tevez's transfer.

Finally, we sack Allegri who now is the CL final.

If this is some roundabout way of getting into the CL through Juve winning some Coeff points, then I am not getting it.

Guys, remember when all of you laughed at me?

Sacchi said:

“For five years an Italian team didn’t even go beyond the quarter-finals. And with Inter, it’s true that they won the Champions League, but with pretty much no Italian players, and that’s a real shame."

I had a point, even though I'm a foreigner, but I want all the best for Italy...
