Yea that pisses me off a lot. I don't understand how he picks his matches. Most amount of money? can't imagine guys like Algeiri earning him a lot.

Needs to start taking on guys at the higher level. specially if he is fighting twice a year

I think he saw Algeiri as a punching bag and a way for him to get his name out there in the States if he schooled him.

Didn't go well AND the American boxing fans (not casuals) aren't idiots when it comes to that stuff. They know he is avoiding the big fights because he is scared that these welterweights have the power to rock him.

Very soon, no one will fight him in the division.

Yeah, all boxers talk shit but they do it to sell fights.

Khan is either talking shit to beg for a fight (Floyd is tarnishing his legacy not fighting me) or to duck a fight (Brooks needs to beat guys even I aint fought yet to deserve it)

You cant lie to us and say Brooks isnt a big enough name, Brooks wont sell....everyone in the UK who is remotely into boxing knows Brooks and Khan needs to happen and it will sell better than ANY domestic fight, easily.

And it isnt gonna get bigger, if anything one of them are more likely to lose than it gets any bigger. Both should be fighting other elites, which as we already seen with Khan....they can lose, easily.

Is he trying to build hype for a potential Brook fight by dismissing him and all this stuff?

They aren't even the undisputed 1 and 2 in the division so people will just not care very soon.

Kell should look to fight Thurman imo.

Kahn waiting for that pay day vs Floyd. Nothing else.

He will settle for hand picked pillow punches untill it becomes clear he cant fight Floyd.

He aint trying to build hype with Brook, he knows its a dangerous fight he might not just lose, but might get knocked down and out. He wants Brook to go away, he would love nothing more for Brook to fight an elite (Garcia, Bradley et al.) and lose.

He isnt interesting in building himself either, he just wants the Floyd lottery jackpot. If he was serious about being the best, he would have forced Floyd's hand by beating Brook, Garcia, Bradley and Pacman and these guys.

Floyd is gone after Sept 12 imo.

If Brook fights one of these elites and wins again, there would be no need to fight Kahn.
The positive with Floyd going would be that all his belts would be up for grabs, so these guys would have to start fight each other.

Back to Kahn, I don't think he's cut out to be a Welterweight. These guys have too much power for him.

He, and most fighters see Floyd as the lottery. They fight Floyd and they get a fortune. They dont care about anything else, they dont even want to earn the right to fight him. Floyd gives chances to random people (Berto, Ortiz) so that only gives these guys less motivation to prove anything.

If Kahn was serious, he would just beat those guys as I said and the whole world would say Floyd is ducking him and its fight on. Instead, he wants the hand downs.

But yes I agree with you, Brooks fights a Thurman or someone big and wins...he dont need anyone. Porter was a good first step and as far as im concerned Brook > Kahn in terms of division standings.

Since 2010, Brooks has looked better as far as I can tell. Since Maidana, Kahn has lost twice and the best name he beat was Alexander....Porter is a MUCH better name (especially after destroying Broner) and Brook beat him.

I agree, Khan would do better boxing wise at LW...but all the money is at WW so he will stay there.

And career wise, Maidana manager said he will be back August or September and he wants Khan in a rematch.

Khan dont have an opponant for Sep and now he is refusing to fight Brook....I would like to hear the reason not to fight Maidana.
