Yeah uhm. Still a very good season it was, but no better than Season 1.
First of all S1 was brilliantly paced and everything felt like it was building up to something and it did. While I remember some of us complaining the season finale of S1 was a bit underwhelming, this one of S2 was more so. Like M99 pointed out
Speaking of Elektra though, *bleep* how hot was she. The actress was also very good. Always loved Elektra and she did her justice!
Also the thing about S2, I mentioned how S1 was brilliantly written but in S2 it felt like they were jumping around a bit more, and I don't know if it was me , but a lot of fight scenes felt unnecessary and they weren't of the same quality and careful build up as S1's fight scenes.

I actually liked Season 2 better than Season 1.
I hadn't delved into Daredevil before the Netflix series came out so I'm not speaking from a comic book pov.
I thought Season 1 started dragging towards the end, particularly the Ben arch and the Karen scenes lost my attention too many times.
In Season 2 I found the pacing to be consistent. I understand some people not liking it since Punisher features less and there's more of The Hand towards the end. I didn't mind that though, I felt they managed to keep The Hand arc intriguing enough. The hospital scene was great and Daredevil's helplessness due to being overwhelmed by so many foes was palpable.
And Punisher was just
Maybe it's because I love vigilante stories too much, but I would rate this up there with the best superhero depictions. There's a huge gulf of quality in storytelling & dialogue between this & BvS.

There was no plan to make season 3 for years. DD S3 wasn't supposed to be out till defenders, luke cage, iron fist and a 2nd season of JJ. This is quite a big shock.
I am confident this is out in the usual DD slot around April 2017

The timeline is confusing. The Defenders will serve as a sequel to Daredevil S2 storyline if it comes before S3, right? And the Luke Cage S1 will be in the post-Jessica Jones S1 timeline or before that?

Ready for the GOAT Marvel TV show to come back.
Even though there's been some fantastic additions, nothing matches DD for me. Punisher has potential to be up there but it hinges on how good the antagonist(s) are. Kingpin is on his own level and he hasn't technically really been kingpin as we know him yet. Vincent D
