I don't agree at all. It is some of the best tv of the year no doubt though. Don't think it held up throughout. Punisher's dialogue is the first 4 episodes was great. Then it stopped and I just waited and waited and waited for him again... Really wish they'd actually used him as an antagonist throughout.

I think Bernthal will be nominated for an Emmy for his performance tbh. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Emmys are given for a single episode, right? I can't remember much better acting from someone this season of TV better than Bernthal in episode 4.

House of Cards has won 2 GG and 6 emmys. So yeah. Orange is the new Black also gets a lot of awards. Netflix is a huge player.

Don't see an episode from David Tennant as good as episode 4 from Bernthal. Bernthal is by far the best bet.

My memory is not at its best but I think Tenant gave an Emmy worthy performance the episode

Sadly I don't see either of them getting nominations. I don't Emmy's giving any recognition to comic book adaptations in the near future. Its too soon to tell anyway now with Peter Dinklage, Jonathan Banks, Christian Slater, Olly etc yet to complete their work.

Not sure when we will see DD season 3 now. Reckon Defenders will air after Luke Cage and Iron fist.

Almost sure they will run with 'born again' storyline in season 3. Seems too obvious with Kingpin already suspecting Murdock is Daredevil. But that means Bullseye will either be in season 4 or be the main villain in Defenders

That luke cage teaser got me a bit hyped for it.

When he was eating and felt his lips where Murdock punched him and then immediately asked for everything on Murdock. I thought he realised that it was a similar punch to DD when they both fought in S1

season 2 was good, but not on season 1's level IMO.

The hand story was underwhelming.

Looks like I'm with the consensus on this season. Great season, but not at the level of the first season. Hopefully more integration with Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist along with the return of Kingpin helps.

Yeah uhm. Still a very good season it was, but no better than Season 1.
First of all S1 was brilliantly paced and everything felt like it was building up to something and it did. While I remember some of us complaining the season finale of S1 was a bit underwhelming, this one of S2 was more so. Like M99 pointed out

Speaking of Elektra though, *bleep* how hot was she. The actress was also very good. Always loved Elektra and she did her justice!

Also the thing about S2, I mentioned how S1 was brilliantly written but in S2 it felt like they were jumping around a bit more, and I don't know if it was me , but a lot of fight scenes felt unnecessary and they weren't of the same quality and careful build up as S1's fight scenes.
