Arsenal are as good as out of the cup if you ask me.

Yeah.. We are too hip to go go against the trend of big teams slipping.
EDIT: I know what you did there Hans

Re: FA Cup 2014-15
you'd think that after yesterday's upsets, thought around two corners, Arsenal would go through easily today.
I disagree.
Another upset is ahead like the iceberg of the Titanic.

only a fool would think this one goal would be anywhere enough to go through. Brighton comeback still very imminent.

Everytime the ball is hoofed aimlessly forward by either team, that BT co-commentator has a quick but violent orgasm

Watching Fox.. its surprisingly bearable, although that could also be (at least partly) due to the scoreline..

Villa have scored a goal, arguably the biggest shock of all time.

Re: FA Cup 2014-15
Honestly can't see Liverpool not winning this FA Cup.
Arsenal won't win it because of the champions of a competition playing that competion syndrome and LvG clearly doesn't give a *bleep* about domestic cups this season, all the other midgets that won in this round no longer have the surprise effect.

I don't know how to react to them scoring twice in the same game. I feel a bit like Nelson Mandela when he came out of prison, struggling to adapt to a changed world.

Re: FA Cup 2014-15
neither Arsenal, Pool or Utd are in the next round yet, with Liverpool's chances to progress the slimmest.
I'd put my money on Crystal Palace, as the football universe imo is intent on taking the piss out of Mole.

Knock-out competitions are much harder to win twice in a row than a league because a lot depends on luck, on form of a certain period and not on actual ability while in the league the team who wins is undeniably better. That's why you see back-to-back winners in leagues and not in CL, WC etc.

True, but you see back to back winners in the cups nonetheless

Ok I'll bite.
By that logic, we are coming off the worst first half of a season in years and things are looking up for us as a squad and a unit. So we could be strong contenders as well.
Liverpool meanwhile, have a 14 game period over 47 days, which could be extended if they progress in Europa League. They were unable to manage their squad to the best in the first half of the season when they had to deal with mid-week Champions League fixtures.
My point is not that Arsenal, should we progress today, will have one hand on the cup. It is more to say that Liverpool, should they beat Bolton away and progress, still have their task cut out if they want to win this cup. Which nullifies your original point that Liverpool should walk it.

Lower league teams have set the bar so high yesterday that half time pundits on BT are now mercilessly slamming Brighton for playing too poorly and 'showing no passion'
