A lot of smack talk from United fans, given they barely scraped past Preston and whose all time top scorer had to rely on a dive and penalty to get on the score sheet in 2015 Laughing

I quite like the optimism from Utd fans actually. I frankly have zero hopes of making it past them at OT. We can't even show some balls against Myeseh's United ffs. And no matter how well we play, we are going to lose somehow anyway - the game at Emirates earlier this season being a case in point.

Nah, we'd still lose to some really shitty goal. Like a DDG spot kick getting carried by a rogue gust of wind into the opposing net after DDG slips when taking the kick, or something even more ridiculous than that.

actuallz LVG does improve team tactically wherever he goes but I cant believe that he is still completely clueless about it.

He hasn't though.

They're still tactically a mess.

But they're getting back their groove of winning ugly games just like how they did it under fergielicious. :S

I dont think United players themselves care about how they are winning the games. And I think that is exactly is the strength of this team. They are just so desperate to put the ball into the net and they somehow manage it and it seems like LVG has instilled this mentality into them. So in the end it wont even matter probably and they will most likely finish in top 4 Laughing

So Bradford and Reading played out a boring draw. Replay will be on Monday 16 March.

Aston Villa - WBA had no shortage of fun and craziness y'day.
Like they did in mid-week, Villa got the win against their local rivals. The match was capped off though by some crazy scenes. Laughing :coffee:
NSFW:

Liverpool vs Blackburn today.
Blackburn's road to the quarters has consisted of a few slaying of PL opposition. Will Liverpool be served up next?

Man Utd vs Arsenal tomorrow.
The defending champions face their toughest test thus far in their run to retain the title. It is definitely the toughest fixture that Arsenal could have gotten considering their mental struggles and poor record against Man Utd, and the got it. Those who say Arsenal have been quite lucky in the draw in the last 2 years of the FA Cup will finally get what they wanted for Arsenal.
Let's see how this latest edition in this classic rivalry turns out.

Boring that they put ManU v Arsenal on Monday night and only one game on today.

Anyway, we have played two games a week for a couple of months now, but that run ends now (since we lost to Besiktas  ) and I expect us to field our strongest team and therefore beat Blackburn without too many problems.

Hopefully there'll be a draw tomorrow, so Arsenal and Manu have one more game to handle.

Fixture congestion isn't a problem for us. Probably is for United though.

Would love a draw and replay being held at the Emirates. Higher chance of beating them there.

Comfortable victory for Liverpool today.

All about tomorrow's game though. Shame I'm going to miss the first half though, damn you BBC for putting this on a Monday night Mad

Also Villa fans reacting like that, didn't realise they won the FA cup yesterday.

If I was Wenger, I would defend in my own half and try to get a smas and grab victory. ManUtd for their life wont be able to score against Arsenal if Wenger gets it right. The maximum loss which may happen will be, a draw. I think Arsenal on counter attack can be dangerous with the likes of Sanchez, Özil, Cazorla, Welbeck :coffee:

I as well think we should adopt that approach for tomorrow, a la the "City approach", which even though I still think was very much overhyped by the media and fans, I still think it will be enough to do the trick tomorrow against Yanited.

Blackburn  Well organised and sturdy. An effective ploy to counter this free flowing pool side. Hopefully the PL teams will pick a thing or two from this tactic they used. :coffee: Henley and Bapiste were good.

You couldn't have blamed Mignolet had he fallen asleep in the 2nd half. We had all the possession but were lazy in attack. No one making runs and everyone looked like they were just waiting for someone else to do something decisive. Blackburn deserved the draw.

Eh? I saw the 2nd half and I don't think that the game was shit and neither that Liverpool were complacent.
Blackburn managed to hang on, is all, with 10% possession.

Should have been a penalty for shirt pulling on Balotelli as well.

Always a good strategy to get the bad performances (DRAWS) out of the system at FA Cup, because you always get a replay anyways.

Replay will be on April 8th now Laughing ....1 month from today Very Happy

all FA Cup wins have been away this season, so the trend goes.

Would love to play Tim Sherwood at Wembley if we get there....He'll be hilarious Laughing
