BW and SC2. The only two games to get my heart rate up and sweating etc.

Soldier 57, Pharah for attack, Torjborn, Junkrat and Widomaker for defense, dva for tank and Lucio for support.

I started playing the beta pretty late, and I don't think I ever got out of the noob stage, but Junkrat is the first character that comes to mind who's really easy to play as. Also, the ice chick is pretty much a guaranteed win in 1v1 situations if you can get up close and personal (not against defenders, though)

Oh yeah add Mei to that list, forgot about her somehow lol.

Gamespot's review in progress, they say the full review will come when they get to test the game in the " wild " and see if the experience holds up.

I agree with pretty much every word about the game if the beta i played is any indication.

Wonder if people will move on from this as fast as they did with Destiny, battlefront, division and rainbow six

I think it will last then, Blizzard factor as you already mentioned and IMO at least there's more depth to the gameplay than those games can offer.

They reverted Genji's HP back to 200 apparently, Tolbjorn's turrets are much shorter ranged, Mercy's heal per second got nerfed as well i think (thank f*ck)

Competitive mode will be coming at a later date as well i believe, guess they need to give time for the meta settle in and see where it goes

The premise of the setup of the game means it will last as long as there is even a small devoted community. Overwatch has already garnered a pretty decently sized devoted community before it's even launched. As others mentioned, it's a Blizzard game which means it will have longevity and it will also have Blizzard faithful like me sticking with it regardless of what new games come out.

As far as FPS's go, I haven't been as excited over one since I played the original halo trilogy.

Will it ever gain mainstream appeal like CoD or Halo or something? Of course not, but it should persist like SC2 has, or BW which still has players even today it's how Blizzard builds their games.
