Overwatch

Someone else got a quad kill on the objective in the game but I got potg because someone used my teleporter during the play

Versacci, Tom and Mole have mics. RG does too, I think. I don't know if I would purchase a mic for the sake of only talking to GL members in online games - unless, you don't mind spending the money on it. With the exception of Overwatch, I've only played a few random CoD games and a few FIFA matches here and there with people on here, over a time span of like, 4-5 years lol.

Correction, I actually used to play a shit ton of CoD with MT. He never used his mic, though

Next time we all play i'll make a party chat where we can talk and obviously Thimmy & Firenze will then hear us & our call outs.

Mine got dispatched this morning so it should arrive tomorrow.

As for the mics, it's not really necessary if any particular doesn't want to.

As long as you are in party and can hear us communicate then it's all good plus there's certain text things you communicate like "I have an ult" etc etc which you don't need a mic for.

This game will never be competitive as long as Blizzard doesn't support 120 tickrate.

I usually spam when my ult is ready, one thing I haven't seen done at all in public matches is combining ultimates, on hanamura in particular I've gone into the room that's locked down by the opposition for the final objective on attack and floored everyone with Reinhardt's move, prime time for someone to use Hanzo's ultimate etc and win the match easily but it seems like most people use their ultimates within 1 min of getting them rather than waiting for dat GOAT opportunity (I'm guilty of doing it too tbh)

Yeah i'm guilty of that too but that's where mics would be great. Using the "my Ultimate is ready" won't cut it lmao

I've used my Hanzo ult twice when a Brienne char used her ult (might have ben you) and another time when Reinhardt used his ult where I used my ult afterwards.

Obviously lucky they used theirs and I had mine ready.

his ultimate is probably the most OP in the game

I don't see Bastion much now, on release he was everywhere, think people got bored of his playstyle

Yeah, I'm just saying that if you don't have a lot of money to spare, don't waste it on headphones that you'll use 10 times in half a decade My old headphones cost me about $100, and I only used it once with MT and a few times with random team mates in CoD. I can afford it, but it's still a waste and I have way too many electronic devices lying around already.

The tick rate is how many times your game and the server exchange information per second - a client tick rate of 20 means your game only updates the server 20 times per second aka sends information every 50ms - for comparison pro gamers find the tick rate of 120 on ranked CS:GO servers "passable" because that's how responsive the game needs to be at minimum.

Pro Super Smash Bro. Melee are trying to take advantage of the Dolphin emulator to eliminate a 4ms delay in input so you can see just how good the pros are and how high the tick rate needs to be.

Have you ever played a game called Gunz, Phritz? I played it for a short while, a long time ago. The game was fun, and it felt really rewarding to master new techniques/glitches, but my fingers turned into spaghetti after every play session It's such an ADHD/epilepsy- inducing game I figured you'd played it, since it's a PC game (that wouldn't play well on console), and the difference in ability between an average and a good player is outright unfair. Hell, even the difference between a really good player and a slightly better player was unfair. Being good at Gunz meant that you could casually stomp on multiple average players while hardly taking any damage.

You played it, RG? I really enjoyed that game. Hardly anyone could beat me in 1v1 or 1v2 in that game, since I had the reflexes of an Asian pro gamer lol. I never learnt how to slice 5 times in one slash, though. I don't know how that's even possible, but some people managed to do it.

Yea I played it for a month or two as my pc days clan tried to get into it at one point. It was fun but not all of us liked it so we went to Knight online instead

knight online was the first MMORPG I played think it was in 2006? got bored of the grind early on, think it's the only MMORPG I've played to this day, I remember my cousin upgraded my poverty PC RAM for me to play it

nostalgia swear 80% of the knight online playerbase was turkish

actualy I remember playing Lineage 2 on a private server for a month too, that game was pretty good

can't believe you played that Thought I was the only one on GL. It was really low key

yea 70% of the playerbase was turkish, which is the reason why the game went on a decline so badly as they pretty much put off every other non-turkish players. Privatised the servers. Would NEVER speak english. Too many cheaters too. Think my account got banned and I left it after that.

Was a shame as I really enjoyed that game at that time.

I don't remember how I came across Knight Online. Might have been looking at a list of the best MMORPG's at the time and that was on it. I think I got to level 80 or something, I know I put a lot of hours into it but quit after a month or two. Got a friend into it and would have played more but he didn't like it. Think I quit to play san andreas multiplayer, which I ended up playing until I got a 360 and became a console pleb again

I'll probably play some Overwatch in a couple of hours. Feel like I need a day break at least though so maybe not.

Actually no that was when I was too pre-occupied with other games at the time; my interest was piqued though.
