Blizzards first new IP in 17 years. Despite Project Titan being cancelled (the FPS MMO project from Blizzard, wasn't ever officially announced but they'd been working 7 years on it) its assets and artstyle have been retooled into a team based arena shooter.

If it even comes out for it :/ Blizzard are basically rehashing Titan, which was suposed to be a PC exclusive FPS MMO into an Arena FPS. If it does come out for consoles you're looking at a later release.

This game looks pretty fun. They have blended few modes and genres together and made it look appealing.

lol no idea why they brought TF2 on console. It was already half dead on PC. No one was going to play TF2 over the likes of COD/Battlefield

I was talking with some folks about this just yesterday, actually.

I'd watch the hell out of it as a movie/tv show but not sure I'll end up playing the game simply because I'm terrible at this type...

It was part of Orange Box which people bought on consoles to have Half-Life 2 and its expansions. TF2 and Portal were bonuses.

The issue with TF2 on consoles was that Orange Box came out after Halo 3 and a month before CoD 4 (Battlefield Bad Company would come out a year later). The lack of aim-assist which is a must for console fps's meant TF2 wasn't going to survive a meta where the success of the FPS depended on how little skill it actually took to get kills.

I wouldn't say it flopped because the PC community was half dead which is a pretty silly statement to make considering they came out at the same time. (RG )

Also RG I wouldn't lump DOTA 2 and LoL with GOW. They fill out stadia with multi-million dollar prize pools and higher attendance rates than Serie A and GoW isn't anywhere near that :/

Don't know why I thought TF2 on PC was released years before it came on the orange box. Probably thinking of some other game.

And I Meant Guild Wars 2, wrote GOW by mistake lol. Unless you meant that.

Probably because TF 2 was announced in 1999 - Valve seems to have a completely different concept of time.
