MaraVilla wrote:ffs anyone seen John Wick? probably one of the best action movies out there in the last decade. The plot is lol worthy; goes on a rampage because mobs killed his dog. But fkkk me the action is GOAT.
Im not bias when it comes to movies/tv shows, i watch every genre doesnt matter if its romcom or action. If you want to shut down your brain, relax and enjoy a simple plot, non stop action movie then you would really enjoy this movie
8/10. fun, fast pace, non stop action and enjoyable. some awesome action sequences aswell
Everyone who has seen it is saying this is one of the best action movies in recent history. Glad to see Keanu make a GOAT action movie again. Now watch Hollywood make this a series and milk it for all it's worth. coughtakencoughnoidonthaveebolajustacold

In relation to all the Nolan debate in the last week I felt like this would be an appropriate video to share with you. A video podcast talking about Nolan's career.

Interstellar was something else, an experience of a movie. Could have used more of the emotional parts, as they were the ones that hit. The second half fell a little bit flat, but overall the movie was really really good. Too high expectations are the reason of all the hate tbh.

It's hard for me to grade it tbh. Not the best of the year by any means, but still great.. Had potential to be much more though 4/5 I'd say
Memento
Inception
Dark Knight
Batman Begins
TDKRises - interstellar
Prestige
Insomnia
That order would be mine

Freeza, how's the science in the movie.
Complex? Did some of it go over your head?

It was pretty comprehensible up until the latest part of the movie, but there isn't a scientific answer to answer that yet. If you understand the basics relativity you should be fine

Smh scroll up a bit RG you scrub.
Reading some more positive fan reviews of Interstellar. It's apparently very emotional, one dude says one scene had nearly everyone at the theatre crying. And the wormhole scene is one of the greatest scenes ever done in sci fil

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Wow, Lucy was pure garbage. I couldn't make it more than halfway through it. Maybe the people responsible for this turd use 10% of their brain. That would make a lot more sense.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
I hear Lucy was a lot of fun from many of my friends, despite it having a weak scientific premise. But it's just the premise tbh, I can cope with that, that isn't something that pisses me off.
What else didn't you like from Lucy?

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
It's not just the premise though, it was the entire movie. Compare it to Limitless which used the same flawed BS, that movie was still enjoyable. They just used the unlocking the full potential of the brain as a plot device. The story was still somewhat interesting and it was easier to ignore it.
In Lucy, they introduce a neuro-scientist who keeps spouting off even more scientific bullshit. Instead of showing Lucy use her new intelligence, they simply turned her into a god. They relied on visuals to trick people into thinking it was actually a decent movie while completely ignoring the story telling. I was bored for the entire 40 minutes I watched.
