The Tebas family are Madridistas. There is a picture floating around showing them in Real Madrid shirts. Interesting piece from Paco Aguilar - it sheds a lot of light on the favouritism through the voting for the Ballon d'Or. I would recommend that you read it, I do not think that it's just a typical Real Madrid-hating article like someone said earlier.

Gil is right tbh, I hate how stats are now more important than winning to the new generation of fans.

Modric and Ronaldo did *bleep* all in the games that mattered and were the reason they didn't win the league.

They finished 3rd for a reason, they were 2nd best against both Barca and Atletico. Winning should be rewarded over stats and image.

Oh and Navas rofl you damn well he wouldn't be in the discussion if he stayed with Levante, stop the embarrassing Madrid bias.

For Navas, A lot of people were praising him before he was even linked to Madrid.

And it's not that hard to understand that winning team doesn't mean they have the best players. Chealsea won the CL with arguably the worst performances of a CL winner, ever. United won cups and leagues with performances that no one would call inspiring.

All of you people are acting as if the best player award always went to a player in the winning team, this is ridiculous. Yes, Ramos shouldn't have won, Iniesta was even a bigger controversy, but to to say Navas or Ronaldo shouldn't have won the award is just stupid.

Pretty sure we all said he was the best keeper in the league, even before he signed. It's just people's irrational hate towards everything Madrid related that makes you state he isn't a deserving winner. 16 clean sheets for Levante of all clubs, singlehandedly won them a lot of games. But yeah it's only because he play for us now he gets all the love.. yeah.

Ramos winning is not anything wrong with this award in particular, it's just all awards, coaches and everyone in the entire world of football that wrongfully believes Ramos is a great defender.

Also this Madrid finish 3rd argument to suggest Barca players should win is ridiculous, since the f'ed up more in the league when it mattered. Also we finished at same f'ing point tally.

Suddenly people who barely watch a couple La Liga games all season long became experts on individual performances. =/

Smh..madrid fans. To say some french fries on here were busy lobbying for the BDO award to be given to robbery last season simply cause he was on the winning team and now saying how being on the winning team no longer matters..the award is and will always be about the best performance and not the best players..this team bossed madrid and barca individually and won the league last season against all odds ffs, even having to play the title decider against direct competitor barcelona on the last day and still came out tops while being a goal down..and that doesn't count for anything? The cr7 butt licking is getting ridiculous at this point..Btw, any barca player has no business being in that line up or the reserves tbh..

It's all about superstars nowadays. That's just the way it is. Just ignore everything bar the games - it's all bullshit.

Modric and Ronaldo weren't the reasons Real Madrid shat itself in the league last season. Mole, out of all people, should know better. And everyone was praising Keylor Navas. Everyone. To act like there is some Madrid bias with respect to Navas is really not giving the man his just praise.

Also, Costa and Courtois left the league, people really thought they would win it?!
