Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
I thought Ballers was pretty boring. There wasn't anything funny or interesting. Might give it a few more episodes. I don't know. The Brink was a little better. Tim Robbins as the secretary of defense could be a great character.
I'll check out Mr. Robot.

Finally got ourselves the long-awaited sequel to Fight Club in Mr. Robot.
Doubt it would last long as a hit, but a good solid pilot as a start can't do you no harm.

Ballers is meh. Gonna keep watching this season as the women are hot and it's only 20 mins per episode. But not worth wasting time on in all honesty.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
Surprised I found it on tv just about an hour ago. Of course missed out on ep1, but it looks okay. The 20mins per episode definitely helps, so I think I'll also stick with it for this season.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
Recently finished watching Sense8 on Netflix and really enjoyed it. The Wachowski's have been on a downward spiral since The Matrix but I thought this show was a breath of fresh air for them. If any of you do decide to check it out keep in mind that the first 2 episodes are really slow moving and if you're still not feeling it by the end of episode 4 then I would advise you to quit. Strong 1st season rating of 8.5

Watched the pilot of Mr. Robot and I have to agree with Freeza on it being the best damn pilot episode I've ever seen. Hype is real guys!

let's not get into technicalitehs
Sense8 pilot was meh. Dragging. It was an hour long and all the info we got could have been summed up just as well in 3 minutes.

Watched 40 mins of Sense8 pilot last night and it just bored me. Will finish the episode and give another episode a try to see if it's anything good

People say the pilot isn't the best but stick it out and it gets better. Which is why I forced myself through that borefest.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
Also I need a goat show to watch. Something really GOAT. I don't care if it's old. Please recommend. No sitcoms or cartoons. Any other genre is good.
And nothing from this list. I've seen all of these:
GoT
True Detective
House of Cards
Breaking Bad
Justified
Fargo
Spartacus
Rome
Black Mirror
Sherlock
The Americans
Firefly
Deadwood
The Newsroom
Suits
The Walking Dead
Hannibal
Lost
Fringe
Luther
Homeland
Supernatural
Prison Break
The Following
24
Burn Notice
American Horror Story
Dexter
Sons of Anarchy
Sopranos
OZ
Six Feet Under
And I don't want to watch Utopia, Downton Abbey, The Shield or The Wire.
Boardwalk Empire, Peaky Blinders, and Marco Polo are 3 I'm going to start so don't recommend those either.
I'm looking for goat shows that have by chance slipped by unnoticed.
P.S. Almost all shows on that list are good, so you're welcome as well, I recommend them all to you. Except maybe for a few. The Following is pretty shit So Is AHS. Prison Break after season 1 as well The rest I vouch for.

There are no GOAT shows left. You've seen them all.
You are missing misfits from your list though, unless you forgot to mention it.

I actually haven't seen Misfits. I'll put that on the list. Anything else. I mean, cmon, there has to be some other good shows out there.
And please don't recommend crap like Sense8.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
lmaooooo
you are putting me off from watching it. And it's on netflix
Watch misfits. Specially the first 3 seasons. Skip the rest, you'll know why.
I've been wanting to start Continuum soon so you can give that a go if you want. Not sure how it is though.
I remember you said you watched few seasons of House so maybe you can finish that.
Few others I haven't seen but heard favourable stuff. Once Upon A Time, Orphan Black and Lost Girl
