Re: Tactics and formation debates
What I want to see is also a 4-3-3. Thats the best setup with which we can get the maximum out of our players. Although I agree with you guys about the lack of width in that formation. May be thats why we are playing a double pivot and an additional attacker in no.10.
My ideal 11.

Re: Tactics and formation debates
Ya. Bailly has played RB for Villareal. He is supremely quick. Its no big deal though. Can swap him for Valencia/Darmian too and put him in place of Blind. The reason I included Blind is again what BB told in his post. He is the best passer in our team and sometimes you need that long ball from defense to surprise oppositions defenses, Daley can provide that and since this formation doesnt have a traditional creator from the middle (a no 10 ) so you need one of your CBs to be ball playing ideally.
If its a 4-2-3-1 then yep, surely Bailly will partner along with Smalling.

Re: Tactics and formation debates
You said ideal 11. In my opinion, Valencia >> Bailly at RB, even though he lacked consistency for some time.
Maybe it's a personal favorite, but doesn't sound realistic at all, nowise ideal. At least not for Man United.
Regarding the rest of your team, it looks decent, quite nice with TFM there behind Herrera and Pogba. And the most important, it's without Runi.
And hey, thanks for sharing your view on this! It matters a lot!
