Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
Wenger told reporters on Friday of his plans for the window, which opens on January 1."If everybody's fit, we don't need to go into the transfer market,"
I dont know why even he brings up, IF?

Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
He also said that if we were to sign anyone it would happen in the last 3-4 days.
Praying he's just trying to throw clubs off by saying we don't really need to sign anyone. We just brought Coquelin back ffs, of course we do.

When we have Injury crisis, no time to be a fool. The club has the money and spend on 2 players ASAP. Wenger is so delusional, he would spend more time on finding excuses than improving the squad.

What an imbecile he has turned into... Sad sad stuff.
He's an old man very likely to be suffering from some kind of mental health issues, but what are Wenger's supporters excuses?

You are quite the elaborate troll aren't you? Not even trying to hide it at all. In any case, let's say you're being serious and you're just flat-out ignorant, allow me to shed some information on you.
No matter what happens, we could get relegated down to League Two, and the way you're speaking about our manager is not appropriate especially for a "Fan". Not accounting that the manager you're disrespecting took our club to the next level and gave us the foundations to be at the top level for many, many years to come.
Honestly though, I don't blame you. It's much easier to just blame Wenger for all the problems with our club. It's easier than actually looking up and reading and understanding what's wrong with our club. You can do that, but don't come on here and be so sneering and condescending.

So in lieu of an empty post in which you infer intelligence. Maybe being the wise sage that you are you can possible paraphrase for some of the more ignorant fans, (that are not real fans. Since they are no more than ignorant trolls and all.) "What's wrong with our club".

Pretty sure that the problems at the club extend further than 'Wenger's an imbecile and he's ruining Arsenal'

Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
WENGER’S TRANSFER MARKET QUOTES IN FULL CONTEXT
If you’ve been following snippets of Arsene Wenger’s press conference on Twitter this morning you’ll have seen a quote doing the rounds.
The official @Arsenal Twitter account posted this:
'AW - If everyone is fit then we don't need to go into transfer market.'
And obviously people have reacted to that. However, the full context of his quote is a bit more interesting. He was responding to a question from one of the journalists who asked:
Q: “With regard the defensive problems, are you confident you can solve them on the training pitch or do you have to dip into the transfer market and give them some help?”
A: “Look if everybody is fit and available we don’t need to go on the transfer market. But we have to consider that Koscielny could be a question mark with his fitness and we have to go out on the transfer market, yes.”
So, that’s much more of an admission that we’re likely to do some business – as if the whole idea of everyone being fit and available wasn’t ludicrous enough already.
Wenger doesn’t expect a lot of business to be done overall though, saying, “There will be very little activity because all the big clubs want to keep their best players. It will be as usual, quiet in the first three weeks and a bit frenetic in the last three or four days.
“Usually the transfer market in January is not very active.”
There you go then. Clear as mud, but not a definitive shutting of the transfer door (window) that some would suggest.

Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
Full context FTW.
Don't worry about the transfer window, we're going to sign Lucas Silva, Rômulo, Krystian Bielik, and Aymeric Laporte in January.

Re: The Official Winter Transfer Rumours Thread
Asked by BBC Sport if he’d be active in the window when it opens, Wenger said, “Well yes, with Koscielny we’re a bit cautious and we need cover.”
