When they fail to make Europe against this season, they won't have to even worry about FFP. FFP only applies to teams who qualify for European competitions at the first place

So it ended up being 10 mil euro loan fee, full payment of Falcao's wages and 55 mil buyout.

Monaco owner commented today by saying:
-  Falcao asked to leave and we didn't want to fight him on it.
-  James was sold because the offer was too big to refuse.  Falcao left because he asked to.  We didn't sell anyone else.
-  We were less aggressive in this mercato because my personal situation was complicated.  I don't expect this to be the case in the future.

Pretty straight forward with his comments.  You can't really criticize him tbh...  between his divorce, the Ukraine crisis and his heart surgery, it was a bit much.  Winter and summer mercatos will be more telling assuming his situation is stable by then.

Here's the interview with the team sporting director that was published today. Pretty much the same thing... with even more. I forgot that the 3 year "free period" after you buy a club is over too. So FFP is in play this season for Monaco.

He is an annoying man and uses the dirtiest of tactics to get his clients raises/new contrscts. I thought with half his clients leaving us I would see no more of his face but in comes James and we are back to where we started

worth is a relative terms, if he is leading the scoring table in england for the next 2-3 seasons and help man yoo get back in CL and compete for the title, then those 60 millions are peanuts

If you consider that Mendes is also the agent of Anderson, Nani, and Bebe you have to conclude that he has been running the show at Utd for quite a while now, and now with Ed Woody as his squire he has pretty much unchecked access to their resources

Got them to pay crazy wages to Di Maria (along with an English transfer record) and Falcao that clubs like Real, City and PSG weren't ready to pay

And all the while Ed is happy as a child on christmas as he was able to fill the 'space' he had people watching, and that the media praise him for being able to attract and bring in 'big name signings'

Poor Sepi can't get over the fact that Liverpool have to make due with some hot head trouble maker and Ricky Lambert as their striker signings...with CL.
