What are they going to do with Falcao, Rooney and Van Persie?

Falcao does bring some much-needed mobility to United's front-line, so signing him could be a surprisingly big part of the solution to United's problems, but on the other hand if you're playing poorly as a team, signing a striker doesn't usually help you too much.

It's a quality addition by United nevertheless.

They need to sort out other parts of the team.

But like when they signed Van Persie he'll improve them.

Van Persie and Rooney have been meh so far and let's be honest if Falcao was playing against Burnley they would have won.

it makes sense though.Rooney and RVP are in horrid form atm. RVP is going to have knee surgery too (allegedly). No telling how that will impact him once he recovers.

Loan deal with an option to buy...I'm alright with that. We're getting a world class striker.

If he doesn't reinjure the same knee, the 55 mil buyout clause automatically triggers next summer apparently... So 65 mil deal.

I feel bad for Monaco fans a bit. The price of season tickets trippled for this season and there's no clause for getting refunds.

I'm not really happy about it because the club is Berbatov and a bunch of U23 starlets now. Problem is that that this isn't the Portuguese league. You're not guaranteed top 5 no matter what. If the kids don't work out, you can easily end up middle of the pack.

EDIT: He also makes 14 mil net in wages. Is he the highest paid player in EPL now? That's 20 mil gross or 400k euros a week.
