Re: Radamel Falcao
I believe he will stay with us a few more seasons after this one. He seems to be very happy at Man United. What do you think?

Re: Radamel Falcao
Yeah, since it's a loan move, you know his wages are the same as it was at Monaco, which means this move was purely for sporting reasons. He looked really happy in the first interview, he couldn't hold back his smile.

Re: Radamel Falcao
The fact that we've completed Falcao's loan move to us and the signing of Di Maria shows that we're a very attractive club, even after we finished on the 7th place.
Imagine how we were when we won 3 EPL's in a row and UCL. But from outside it looked like we couldn't buy the best players in the world. We sticked to players like Berbatov, Valencia or Young. Fergie's style!
I think even LvG will be eager to put Falcao in the first XI in the next game and maybe he will get over Radamel's physical condition if he won't be fit to play 90 mins at 100%.

Re: Radamel Falcao
Radamel Falcao set for permanent deal at Old Trafford as Manchester United agree £43m deal ahead of summer transfer
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2778604/Radamel-Falcao-set-permanent-deal-Old-Trafford-Manchester-United-agree-personal-terms-Colombian-ahead-summer-transfer.html
United are keen to avoid a battle similar to the one they had with Tevez in 2009.
Back then, Tevez had been loan at Old Trafford for two seasons and the club had agreed to meet a £25m buy-out clause with the Argentinean’s owners at the end of it. However, the deal collapsed when they couldn’t agree personal terms with Tevez and he eventually joined rivals Manchester City.
This time, United have nailed down terms with Falcao to ensure that there is no room for negotiation should the player’s representatives seek more money next May.
United will decide whether to take Falcao permanently based on his form over the next eight months but also his injury record, given that he missed the World Cup after surgery on cruciate ligament damage.
Meanwhile, United have denied suggestions they can cancel their loan agreement with Monaco if Falcao suffers a recurrence of his knee trouble.

Re: Radamel Falcao
which falcao will you guys take ? a team player with more assists and lesser goals or the one with more goals ? In the formation we are currently playing, greater scope is obviously for the first.
I personally would prefer the 2nd one though. For that its imperative we change to a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 and make him the sole striker.

Re: Radamel Falcao
The latter. He excels as a lone frontman, dominating the space in front of goal.
Won't happen though cuz it seems LVG is fixated on trying to play a declining(imo) RVP back into form no matter what.

Re: Radamel Falcao
A little late, but Falcao pulled off one hell of a two footed tackle on Jamie Jackson, even with his dodgy knee

Re: Radamel Falcao
@ManUtd tweeted he has a new injury which will leave him out for a further 2 weeks.
Frustrating. I personally dont think we''l fork out 40 odd mill for him. Seems to be a crock tbh. Thank God it's just a loan.

Re: Radamel Falcao
Apparently, it's the same injury. Man Utd's twitter account is having a shocker today. Tbh, I agree with you it's looking bad for Falcao right now. But better to judge at the end of the season, hope he turns it around.

Re: Radamel Falcao
Watching the form Aguero's in and knowing Falcao at his best is on that level show's how much we're missing right now. Yeah, I know there's questions if Falcao will ever reach that level again, but everything so far has been positive. We're also playing with a lone striker now.

Scored. Now hopefully that cements his place in the starting 11.

Re: Radamel Falcao
He fights for every ball when he's on the pitch, as long as he keeps doing that I can only support the guy. Him and the other strikers don't really get much service anymore, so he did well to get a goal from one of the few chances.
