I feel bad for Monaco fans a bit.  The price of season tickets trippled for this season and there's no clause for getting refunds.  

I'm not really happy about it because the club is Berbatov and a bunch of U23 starlets now.  Problem is that that this isn't the Portuguese league.  You're not guaranteed top 5 no matter what.  If the kids don't work out, you can easily end up middle of the pack.

EDIT: He also makes 14 mil net in wages. Is he the highest paid player in EPL now? That's 20 mil gross or 400k euros a week.

You don't know the talent on Monaco.  They have a ton of talent...  just very young.  Moutinho, Toulalan, Berbatov, Martial, Ocampos, Carrasco, Kurzawa, Carvalho, etc. are all still there.  The issue is that it's like Porto, Benfica, Roma, etc. now.  They will be competitive, but not at the highest level. If clubs want to overpay, they will sell even if they don't have alternatives really...

Cant remember the source but Im pretty sure i saw that he was going to get 200k GBP (~253k Euro) per week

The funny thing about Falcao is this:
- Gets Porto to the CL and leaves
- Gets Atleti to the CL and leaves
- Monaco go to CL (he had little impact tbh) and leaves

Now Man U with no CL. Is he ever going to play CL?

Falcao is the Colombian Kevin Phillips basically.

It makes some sense. If RVP is injured for like 60% of the year they need another striker, but when the big games roll around and they're all fit it will be interesting to see who LVG drops.

I think 3-5-2 is the ideal fit with the players they have.With 4-3-3,either you have to play Rooney outwide or completely drop him.Either ways Mata would have to be dropped in both formations.
