lol no. He plays CAM for all NT levels and excels at it. He generates most of the creativity from the midfield. He just doesn do that at PSG because they don't use a AM. Because he's tall and good at protecting the ball, they want him to play Motta's role. Blanc is making a huge mistake there... Carlo had it right.
He's absolutely fantastic. Going to be the next talked about midfielder after Pogba imo.

Soldado is among the players FC Porto are interested in, according to A Bola.

Hey sports, how good is Rabiot? I know Roma and Juve were linked with him at the beginning of the summer and I'm curious to what all the buzz is about
Around the same talent level as Pogba imo. Very technical and tall. Not that strong yet... kind of the wiry type.
I don't agree, he hasn't the talent of Pogba.

sportsczy wrote:He refuses an extension for any price... money's not the issue. They offered him as much as Verratti lol. He wants to play and he doesn't see playing time at PSG... and he's right. Has also refused an extension with a loan in tow as he wants to control his own destiny.
He and Verratti were both performing at the same level two years ago. But because Verratti was also looking for a new contract... PSG chose Verratti over Rabiot and sent Rabiot out on loan to Toulouse in order to make Verratti more comfortable. Now, they're paying the price of that choice (they thought they had more loyalty going since Rabiot is a PSG youth product)... although it was always going to be one or the other. No room for both.
Lol, Rabiot has never been anywhere near in the level of Verratti. Indeed I don't see anything of special in Rabiot, he is exalted in France just because he is French

I think there are plenty of midfielders out there that are as good or better than Rabiot. He's not going to be talked about like Pogba.

Tottenham are still interested in Destro, despite Roma valuing him at around €30m, according to Il Messaggero.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfers Rumours Mk.IX
kondogbia also played AM with france u20, doesnt mean he is an AM. Just like, when you watch Rabiot play with PSG, he is clearly a natural CM.
he is a good talent, no doubt, i put him up there with kondogbia talent wise. they have similar characteristic, but he is a better passer while Geof is a better physical specimen

Kondogbia is also more skillfull than Rabiot. Rabiot is anything of special even as a passer.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfers Rumours Mk.IX
Kondogbia is skillful to escape pressure when he is surrounded, but Rabiot never gets in trouble because he always moves the ball before trouble arises.
so which one do you take? i agree in a general sense that Kondogbia can beat a man with more ease than rabiot, but there is a point in football where those skills are useless and moving the ball is the most important thing.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfers Rumours Mk.IX
Kondogbia didn't play AM lol. They were playing Pogba as the pivot and Kondogbia as the left side B2B and Veretout as the right side B2B. You had Bahebeck in support of Kondogbia on the left and Thauvin on the right with Veretout. Then the CF of course, Sanogo, who was used for holding up the play and linkup since he can't finish to save his life. Thauvin was the creative force for that team... he was the one who was allowed to roam. FFS Nick lol.
And if you think Rabiot doesn't take risks with the ball then you've never, ever watched him.
Anyhow, he played the Motta role for PSG as you can see in this video. Just a smooth playing CM:

It is anything of special for me, every time I saw him play with PSG, I've never been impressed.
The only young french talent in PSG is Bahebeck for me.
I think he could take the place of Lucas in the fist team.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfers Rumours Mk.IX
The rumor just speaks of their 'interest' meaning enquiry where they'd probably be told by Madrid to stop bothering.
Though stranger things have happened especially when we're speaking of Madrid who're known to make weird transfer decisions.

I cant go without posting this amazing rumor
Arsenal hopeful on Cavani, Reus & Khedira
Arsenal hope that by waiting until the end of the transfer window they can conclude deals for Cavani, Reus and Khedira. Cavani would cost €63.5 million, while Reus's value is decreasing with a €25m release clause looming.
