What you do in the present is everything, Which explains why they were able to sign a player like Griezeman and Utd got a player like Shaw. If Atleti can continue to fight on, which they very well might wight the squad they have, then they will be a desirable spot.

And lets be real, Costa and Felipe left for the money and chance to play in another league. They replaced Felipe with Gamez and Siguera and Costa with Manzuvik, Jiminez and Griezman. Not exactly downgrading, if anything with those sells they were able to strengthen with depth those 2 positions that were left vacant. So smart move on Atleti with the signings they made with the money

Best attacking mid prospect in France imo... he made PSG last year at the age of 18, was the best player that took France U19 to the U19 Euro finals at the age of 17, and is currently part of France U23 team although he's 19.

Around the same talent level as Pogba imo. Very technical and tall. Not that strong yet... kind of the wiry type.

Well then why not extend his contact? Is he demanding absurd wages or playing time? Has he outperformed Verratti?

Fiorentina are interested in Khedira and their executives will meet when Real Madrid play them tomorrow in a friendly, according to AS. Khedira however prefers a move to Germany or England. Fiorentina are willing to offer him €3.5m a year.

He refuses an extension for any price...  money's not the issue.  They offered him as much as Verratti lol.  He wants to play and he doesn't see playing time at PSG... and he's right.  Has also refused an extension with a loan in tow as he wants to control his own destiny.

He and Verratti were both performing at the same level two years ago. But because Verratti was also looking for a new contract... PSG chose Verratti over Rabiot and sent Rabiot out on loan to Toulouse in order to make Verratti more comfortable. Now, they're paying the price of that choice (they thought they had more loyalty going since Rabiot is a PSG youth product)... although it was always going to be one or the other. No room for both.
