Honestly, almost every player under the age of 30 should go for 2 year deals unless they get blown away with offers.

The players are going to destroy this time around with the new CBA.

Silver will crack to the players demands.. Just recently becoming commissioner, last thing he wants is a lock out.. And with the mega money TV deals coming players are going to have all the leverage. There is going to be likely a ton more money available with a much higher cap.

l hope the players take a stance. lts so stupid how players need to take paycuts if they want to win, and giving a player a max contract significantly hurts your flexibility and ability to build around whoever you just signed.

From what I've seen from Jordan Clarkson, he looks too good for 46th overall.
Can't wait for the season to begin, it's easier to support a bad team in American sports, since there is no relegation and the whole draft system. Really looking forward to see the rookies develop.

Also, are we going to do fantasy again this year? If so, we should probably have someone who'll be committed, so we don't have to have 3/8 not setting lineups.

Agree about the Pistons dmize, but I dont think Jennings can take coming off the bench. He wont be productive and end up being a problem.

Yeah, I think the Cavs if they smart will just run with Wiggins untill the all star break.

Love isnt going anywhere in a hurry and TWolves in desperation will be forced.

That's what we've offered pretty much. Problem is if Wiggins is on the table, we can't beat that offer.

I could tell it was BS because why would Love resign without Rondo? Marcus Smart would have to turn into a star pretty quickly or it's a rental.

I think the Cavs are under pressure from Lebron because he doesn't fancy giving up 1 or 2 years of his absolute prime just for "rebuilding" or the "growth" of the young players. It'll take at least 2 years for Wiggins to become something. Lebron probably wants to win now, at least that's what he'll be saying in the background. Otherwise they won't be going after Love this hard.

I know Boston dont have the cap space, but how would you feel about adding Monroe dmize? Feel like he could be a decent fit at the C position for you.

Rondo/Bradley/Green/Bass/Monroe is a pretty slick SLU with Sully, Young, Thornton and Smart coming off the bench.

If we were closer to competing I would be for it. Right now I wouldn't be a fan of that happening. Would take about 4yr/60m and only make us a fringe playoff team. Also I don't think Bass is in our future and Monroe's not a fit next to Sullinger or Olynyk.

I would rather see the rebuild out, we have nine 1st rounders the next 5 years. After Love gets traded I would trade Rondo to get those picks as high as possible, but right now no one is offering anything that great. I'd take Stauskas and a couple 1sts for him from the Kings that's about it.

I think both want out. I bet they end up taking the 1 year QO and become unrestricted next summer.

Jon Bloom: My SOURCE in L.A. is pushing Lakers to offer Julius Randle, Jordan Hill & 1st Rd Pick from Lin deal in sign & trade for Bledsoe.

I like Bledsoe, but I wouldnt do this if Im LA. Randle and Hill are monsters on the boards and Randle might become a pretty good player in his own right.

The way Randle plays, I cant imagine he wont be averaging 15 and 10 by his 3rd year.

He only uses his left hand to finish and he wont shoot jumpers...but he still cant be stopped getting to the rim. That says alot.

Once he improves his right hand and adds a consistent jumper....

At 19, I aint trading him unless your getting something back which vaults you into near contender status. Dont think Bledsoe is doing that for you.

Bledsoe is going to get the max, and he is completely unworthy of it. The lakers should get the hint that they just want to trade him because they don't want to pay him.

I dont think they will. Drafting Ennis, signing Thomas and offering Bledsoe what they offered doesnt scream to the me that they are desperate.

They want him back, no doubt, but at the right price.

This makes no sense to me. Not only did he suck last year but we have no need for a SG. Bradley, Smart, Young... so I guess he'll get minutes at SF.

Must be used at the 3, but man, he is really bad.

His problem is he can only be productive with the ball in his hands, but he cant command such a role on any NBA team because he doesnt do anything especially well..be it shoot it, drive it or pass it.

I guess he will simply back up Jeff Green because Gerald Wallace is obviously done.

The TLDR read version is basically about letting Isaiah Thomas bolt for Phoenix without a fight, and replacing him with Darren Collison, an older and demonstrably worse player earning just $1.4 million less than Thomas on average over the next three seasons.

Oh no, I'm saying he's not as a bad a loss as you one would think. Sure it's not ideal to replace him with Collison but you don't want to overpay for Thomas or Collison for that matter.
