The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
lenear1030 wrote:Freeza wrote:Woj reporting we're going to get Lin.....
Jim Buss, disgrace of a owner... seriously gtfo.
Lin isn't trash, he just makes to much. It's a good deal for Laker fans because he'll be a draw in LA and he's expiring They cant really do much to improve at the moment they messed up giving Kobe the max for 2 years at this stage where guys aren't really lining up to play with an aging ball dominator.
Also, Dwade...
Lin won't be a huge draw.. The only thing that helps draw for Lakers is winning.
Nash's contract is the one we messed up with, worst trade I can remember.
We're also getting Rockets' 1st round pick apparently.

Everyone as currently constructed, i'd go for the Pacers.
But Bulls will get better by the time FA is done, as will Cleveland and i expect them both to be better by the time the season starts.
Speaking of which, Woj said Bulls are interested in Wade.
If the big 3 all leave

As it stands now, the Pacers are the favorites, Bulls if they get Melo..
If Cavs get Love then I would pick them to make the Finals..

I think you guys are overestimating the East. Garbage conference. Think LeBron with the help of all the young talent (even without trading for Love) get to the final.

@Dmize, what's going on with the Pistons? Is Monroe still available?
Not entirely sure. SVG has said since he took over he wants to re-sign Monroe, I've read they might offer something around what Gortat got.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if Miami offered him the max or close to it now.

Nah that Cleveland team as currently constructed are not good enough to win the East.
But it won't take much to make them good enough, same goes for Bulls.

Freeza wrote:Mr Nick09 wrote:why are ou insulting buss? lakers cant recruit anyone relevant this summer, be realistic lol. they are building another team ready for the lottery. you aint getting love, melo, none of those guys so chill
Why am I insulting him?
1. not getting Phil back in some sort of role.
2. Hiring Mike Brown and D'antoni scrubs.
3. Settling for Lin with the big contract instead of going after other legit players, that could actually be cheaper, and offer something on defense (Seriously.. Thomas should have gotten an offer).
4. If he really wanted to tank, the team would stay intact, since our 1st, is top 5 protected. So they're just wasting money as we're speaking on a team that's not going to the playoff, while still being too good to get a top 5 pick.
That Steve Nash trade really screwed us over.
Lin is making a lot this year but it's an expiring deal. Lakers could use him as an asset during the season.
edit: just saw your other post where you mention LA is probably getting a Rockets 1st rounder. I think it's a pretty good deal actually

If he's got any sense he'll take the Houston deal.
Better fit basketball wise, back in home state etc etc.

Bosh should go to Houston, idiot if he doesn't.
Yeah I guess the Lin deal is good if we get the 1st, and that probably the reason we took the deal. We're not going to resign him for much if we have any sense in this world. This season is going to be a throwaway if we're not getting Melo, which I hope we don't. We'll have so much spending power next year with Nash off contract.
No Randle tonight, not signed yet since Lakers want to keep spending power.

Bosh will have a bigger role in Miami though.. That and living in South Beach
Miami will be big players in next years offseason.. I don't think its as easy a decision as it seems, but I do expect him to leave

Adrian Wojnarowski Verified account @WojYahooNBA
Chris Bosh is finalizing an agreement to return to Miami on a five-year, $118M deal, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

I think Miami should go all out for Melo at this point. See if it's not too late.
If that doesn't work out, offer Monroe

Who wouldn't want to live in Miami, play for a great organization that has championship pedigree, while possibly having a bigger role now that Bron is gone and Wade is in decline...
I don't know if I posted it here but next years free agency class is much stronger...

Nick Young staying at home 4 year 21m$ is what I hear.
Jordan Hill resigned on a 2 year 18m$
Guess we're settling for mediocrity this season and going for a top free agent next summer.

Thats a nice way to spin playing with a one legged cripple and a center who averages 6 rebounds a game.
Miami must be great to live in, the Heat must be a cool organisation to be with and its nice they have a good track record...but when you get on the court, it dont mean anything because there is no Shaq, there is no Prime Wade and there is no Lebron.
Whichever free agent it is that is going there, wont be that good.
Seriously, name names. Dmize is right, they need to go all out for Melo because he is the best player they have a dream of getting now and in the foreseeable future.

Yeah that sucks. I'm just glad he won't be on a lottery team anymore with Bosh returning.
Cavs-Heat play on Christmas Day I believe. That'll be crazy

Free agent forward Jordan Hill has agreed to a two-year, $18M deal to return to the Los Angeles Lakers, agent Kevin Bradbury tells Yahoo.
I didn't really watch much Lakers last year but Hill isn't worth 9m a year is he? Only two years though, everyone's trying to make a run at Durant in 2016
