Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Genuinely think his defence was more due to the pace D'antoni insists his teams play at lol.
Even if it has dropped significantly, he'll still be miles better than Boozer for obvious reasons at that end of the floor.

Yep listed as 5'7. I'm rooting for him to make a team, as unlikely is that is

Vonleh, Williams, Bismack..not sure any of them are good options.
I find it hard to believe Mirotic and McBuckets will see that many minutes to start with. Just because Thibs seems that kind, a little bit stubborn in my opinion.
I think a big problem with him is he wears out the starters too much, come playoff time they are always hurt.
Noah averaging 35-37 minutes a game is just not needed with their depth. He always hurt by the time post season comes around.
Drop him down to 32 max, Pau 28-30, Gibson 25 and Mirotic 10 or so.
Not ideal for Mirotic but thats probably the best he can hope for sadly.
Agree about Gasol's impact, I could see him being a Karl Malone for the Lakers/Vlade Divic type of player. Using his passing ability to get easy shots for people and going down in the post. His defence is slipping, but with Gibson and Noah they could cover the stronger offensive force.
Yeah, they could use Boozer. Vonleh has looked like he's 18 years old in the SL, I still think he's got 15/7 type potential but he's nowhere near ready to start. They plan to start Marvin Williams at the 4. I haven't watched much of him since he was in Atlanta, so I don't know how effective he is there.
And the Pacers did sign Stuckey. He shouldn't start for them, he's better as a 6th man. Seems like they are going to though.

Better than Boozer, no question.
But he cant guard 4's any more. At 34 and being a 7 footer thats not surprising really but he really cant handle guys who can face up.

I don't think that's a problem tbf, Noah is versatile enough to guard 4s and 5s as is Gibson.
The only time you might have a problem is if you're forced to run out line ups with Mirotic/Gasol at 4/5.

Yeah agree, thats why I said it shouldnt be a problem with Gibson and Noah. I think they will manage it so one of the Euro's will always play with one of them.
The only time I imagine an issue is when Noah cant guard the 2 guys.
For example, Melo if he plays the 4.
Whichever of Horford and Milsap. Milsap would toast Pau.
Who guards Dirk? Cant let him take Noah away from the rim IMO.
Blake Griffin vs Pau....

On Dirk i'd take my chances tbh, the biggest threat if Noah gets dragged away from the rim is probably an Ellis drive.
Its a risky move but i take the chance that Pau can effect Chandler enough to stop it being an easy lay up.
I do agree in general though, i'm just imagining Blake and Pau in my head.... smh lol.

Ellis statistically is the best driver in the league. I cant remember exactly which stat it was..I think it might have actually been "most drives into the paint"...I dont think you want that, especially not the Bulls who's whole defensive plan is about giving up the mid range J.
Lucky the Clippers are out West, Pau dont wanna see Blake ever again

Melo should've gone to the Bulls smh. Would've been favorites in the East for at least 2 years until Cleveland matured or moved around some pieces.
If he didn't think Rose was up to it or didn't want to play with Rose, they could've traded for Rondo. Rondo, Butler, Melo, Pau, Noah is hella fantastic. Great bench as well.
Btw hypothetically who would you say benefits the most if Rondo-Rose trade were to ever occur? Forget the contractual side of it. Would you say it's a fair trade?

Lakers picking up Boozer.
As for Rose. No way Bulls will trade him, no chance. If I am the Celtics, I wouldnt do it, just because I really dont think we will ever see THAT Rose again sadly.

We got Ed Davis for the minimum, can he play C? We basically have 4 PF on the roster if not

Maybe in spurts, but overall I don't think so, would get pushed around too easily. He's got the height, although his wingspan isn't great. Definitely better used as a 4.
And I wouldn't trade Rondo for Rose at this point. Maybe if he looked fine after playing half the season but obviously if that happened Chicago wouldn't trade him.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
I think maybe they will just line it up so Boozer plays with Hill and when Davis is in the game, he only plays next to Hill or Randle (vs second units).
Basically, if there is a post presence to defend Hill will be in. If there isnt Boozer will be a 5 who dont defend the rim but is as slow as a 5.
My guess.

Why would Chicago trade the only guy on the roster who can create his own shot lol?

Rondo is a bad fit on the Bulls anyway.
Him, Noah, Pau..all 3 are really passers more than go to scorers. Rondo needs people to finish off his passes.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
I mean Sullinger, Olynyk and Jeff Green aren't exactly world beaters and he still got 10 assists a game. And that was fresh off a knee injury with less minutes.
I don't think he'd be a bad fit at all, besides his shooting. But it's not like Rose lights it up from deep.

Not really about numbers tbf, its the fact Chicago has hardly any shot creators to begin with.
Trading their arguably only one makes zero sense.

Was just seeing what reaction would be lol.
I think it might be a mistake. Lebron would basically be defending for 3 men

1. They won 50 games without a shot creator.
2. Rondo has always been able to create his own shot. Rose's midrange last year where he creates most of his shots, he was 4-20. Go back to his last full season 2011-12 and it's not a whole lot better. http://vorped.com/bball/index.php/player/shotchart/1122-Derrick-Rose/season/2011-2012-REG
Rondo's last full season: http://vorped.com/bball/index.php/player/shotchart/829-Rajon-Rondo/season/2012-2013-REG
Rose is better from the baseline and slightly better from 3.

I don't disagree, just that Chicago have a trouble getting easy offense as is and trading the only guy who can doesn't make sense to me. ( albeit for someone who can create easy offense as well)
Just not something that would make sense for either side.
