Free agent forward Jordan Hill has agreed to a two-year, $18M deal to return to the Los Angeles Lakers, agent Kevin Bradbury tells Yahoo.

I didn't really watch much Lakers last year but Hill isn't worth 9m a year is he? Only two years though, everyone's trying to make a run at Durant in 2016

I know Hill is a double double player (if he plays more than 20 a game, was under used by time last year) and he might actually be the best role player 4/5 available but 9m is pretty steep.

Not that the money is going to be better used elsewhere I suppose though.

9 mil is a bit steep, but it's a two year deal and they have a team option for the second year of that deal. at least they aint that dumb, mitch...

As someone said up there, lakers are getting an expiring player in Lin, they will go at the free agents again next summer. they are doomed to mediocrity right now.

what's curious is that there is no offer for Bledsoe right now, have GMs lost belief in him?

Kobe knows, didnt you heard his interview last week? saying that if they couldnt get melo or so, it wouldnt be for lack of trying. they would go to plan B etc... he is not a dummy, he knows they aint gonna achieve anything, he said they would go out there and compete, that's all.

Pau is his buddy but Pau is off to okc. Lakers better finish last this time, do it properly

This their plan B to try and be competitive, if they wanted to tank they wouldn't get good players tbh. They're doing the best of their powers to be competitive. The only useful picks this year is Houston's 1st, which is going to bin the 20s, since we traded next year's pick for Nash.

Watching summer league atm. Marshall scrubbing. No Randle unfortunately, but Clarkson is doing very well so far, hope he can contribute and get some time to develop.

So, what your saying is Bosh is staying because in some part he believes they can sign lets say, at best, Marc Gasol. Then him, Gasol and an ever more finished Wade will be a title contenders and/or closer to one than the Rockets?

I agree with you about living in Miami, but I think that and the money are the ONLY reasons he is signing. If basketball (now or near future) was a factor he would leave for Houston.

BTW no chance they get Gasol or Jordan even tbh. He will be far too coveted by the better teams.
