I'd give it an 8.5, Needed more girls.

No Vuvuzelas. 10/10.

Unfortunately the overall quality of intl. footy is dramatically decreasing though. Far away from the battles of a bit of a decade ago between great French, Italian, Portugues, Dutch sides.

Traditional powerhouses like Brazil are proper shit, Netherlands relying on a bunch of kids + Robben upfront, Italy playing in slowmotion at 35 year old Pirlo's pace, Argentina tactically great and showing spirit but quality-wise shit, Spain needing an overhaul of their old guard, Portugal a joke, England as shit as ever ... "Unexpected" teams like Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico and Chile + Germany made it worthwile. Other than that - can't wait for club football tbh.

Group stage was incredible, a full 10.

Round-of-16 was good, about 8/10.

Quarter-finals were terrible, 4/10.

Final 7/10


A bit of an empty feeling now that it's finished, but will try to look at it like it's good to have a month's break from football before the season starts.
