If your team doesn't win WC2014 who do you want to win?

The Netherlands. I know, it's a lot coming from a German but I want to see CO's and Cruijffs face as Van Gaal lifts the World Cup.

Australia has no chance. lol

I'll be going for Brazil.

I have no team playing in the World Cup, so I'd want Argentina to win it or Brazil.

I am rooting for Germany.

New Zealand doesn't stand a chance.

Argentina because as of right now Colo will be in the squad and the hilarity of Messi winning a WC in Brazil would be off the charts.

I always go with the teams that have the most Barça players, so I will be going with Argentina and Spain..

They'll be lucky to get to the semis to be honest. Their defence and keeper is average as a whole, and they are way too pro-Messi in the final third. Which is stupid. Because the likes of Aguero, Higgy and Lavezzi etc aren't crap. They would of been hard to beat if they actually had a game plan but instead just try and play through Messi as if the players around him are average...

They are unbeaten in over a year and thier defence has been very solid as a unit for a while now.

My concern would be if Messi and Gago go down then who are the alternatives as they are the sole providers of creativity.

But if they stay healthy then they are different one of the favourites for me.

Brazil. They've always been my second team. That's never going to change with NTs.

Their defence will be found out imo. Still over a year to go, though. Who knows what will happen. I still reckon they flop as per usual judging by the last 10 years.

Brazil... although it would be cool to see this golden generation of Belgium wreck stuff on the world stage

Screw you guys, I would quit football if Messi lifts the WC at the Maracana.Im comfortable enough to say that Messi will never win a WC though

If Brazil doesnt win it, I would be happy if Italy won it (athough that would make them joint most WC winners alongside us)

my experience with USA peeps at least is this:

1) USA goes out --> who has won the most world cups --> root for them


Aside from that, I would love the USA to win. The amount of butthurt the English would have would be unreal.

I sincerely wish you could see the shock on my face on reading this. A german supporting aNetherlands team? My grandfather is rolling in his grave. To be honest I would be happy but Cruijff would most likely begrudgingly accept his philosophical enemy winning such a highly coveted trophy.

Incredible. Your association to Catalonia is so iron clad that you are even able to diregard the Spanish National team. My respect for you has doubled.I feel the same way about the Spanish national team as well, although I do endorse the use of Barcelona's philosophy. I do not support any other teams. As the imperious Free_cat has shown, I do not support Spain because of their oppressive regime against Catalonia. I do however, support the philosophy they use, even though it is slightly negated by Vincente Del Bosque's cautionary pragmatism in the shape of that negative double pivote. If I was forced to choose a second national team, it wouldmost likely be Belgium or the Danish.
