Well the WC is over and it is generally regarded as one of the best in the last 20 years or so.
What did you think of it?
For me, it was 9/10. It had everything. Drama, Action, Great goals, Stars, new stars, great crowd, shock factor etc.

I've missed a lot of matches, so still need to watch them. But from what I've seen, I'd say 8/10 or 7.5/10.

Was leaning towards 9 but there was a huge drop off in action in some of the earlier K.O games. Had a great time watching it though.

I gave it a 6. Yes lot of attacking play and some good individual moments but too many big teams in very poor form, not that much quality competition in the key games and the lack of come backs in the knock out stages all go against this tournament. Those are the things that I for one value even more than goals.

Overall decent group stage, boring knock out stuff. Extra time isn't exciting if the games are just boring. Only a few of those games were decent to watch. Quality of a world cup obviously not really great either but you know that when you watch a world cup. All in all I'd rate it 6-7. Was ok but didn't feel special from a neutral pov.

The group stages were good but KO stages were disappointing, the final game was very good though I thought it was going to be boring as fk.

I gave it an 8.. No one could have asked more of the group stages.
K.O stages were a little more disappointing, that's not uncommon though with teams often having a greater fear of losing than a desire to win, still good nonetheless.

Feeling a bit down right now that it's finished, I loved it. Best World Cup I've seen. My dad thought it was the best World Cup since 78, and that's saying something, for me.
I rated it 9/10. Would have given it a 10/10, but I felt that it went stale during the last 8 before finishing with a bang with that Ger-Bra semi and the final.
Credit to Brazil. They gave us a fantastic tournament. It wiped away the memory of South Africa's awful WC.

9/10. So much drama, not all the negatives, overall just interesting, despite so many injuries. Brazil drama the Germany rape 
Football quality high also, despite being cautious in the KOs. Tactics bar a few teams were high level and players performed. The final was a good one to sum it up.
Sadly I'll remember it more so for Messi's failure to really perform.... Germany truly deserve it.
