Have they already signed Shaqiri ? Have Juventus closed their mercato already ? Have Roma said they'll retain their best players and wont sell anyone ?

Going by the posts in the last page it seems like some ppl have assumed so.(Not referring to you btw)

Would be a good signing for you lot, you could do with some improvement in that area of the team. The closest thing you have to an attacking mid is Giovinco.

Nothing a transfer request can't fix   

why would a 'transfer request' mean or change anything?

yeah, Aulas said he is not signing anyone anymore, jsut a right back. so Lacazette knows he will play 38 league games if he is fit

if Roma takes also Shaqiri , it can be rated really as the favorite on paper ( I think still Napoli will finish above Roma, i've this sensations ) , but it won't happen imo

anyway a thing about Roma : it's a club who gives his best when it is "against  wind", when there are controversies and hostilty , the team compacts against all and the skepticism takes away also the pressure, it was so last year when the Roma players were insulted for all the summer from their fans because of final lost against Lazio , it was so even in 2000 when Roma lost 4-2 in Coppa Italia against Atalanta and it got knocked out so ( and then Roma will win the Scudetto 2000 2001 . ) , it was so also after the first matches of 2009-2010 when Roma began badly the league , the fans were angry and  Trigoria besieged... at the end of league Roma finished 2nd and it was top of the league till  35th matchday.

When Roma begins the season with great expectations etc it tends to flop.

Another target down the drain, wasn't really realistic anyway.

If we don't sign a top striker at bare minimum the summer is a huge failure IMO.

Ljajic, Iturbe, Gervais, Shakira, Totti and Destro is absolutely fantastic.

Maybe invest in a GK as well to complete the squad. Ochoa or Cech.

That will be mighty impressive since they don't even play in La Liga.

Its simply Borini not coming to England to play for a crap team, that he could have done in Italy and still lived a much better life. He would probably have to be given a wage waay above what is expected to stay in a mediocre team in England lol

In all likelihood actually it's a single semi-famous source reporting one thing while every other agency is reporting another. One side has (currently) far more weight to it and it's not the one that everybody on here is jumping to believe.
