Apparently DeMarcus Beasley is heading back to MLS, but the club is tbd

I'd make an educate guess on where he's going based on the allocation order or something but MLS makes up rules on a weekly basis so I have no clue.

Id say DC United makes the most sense but who knows. Think the rules of who can do what depend on Garbers mood

Lambert, Can, Lallana, Markovic, Lovren, Remy and Origi all (reportedly) done so far. If I'm couting right that's about £93m...which still would in theory leave £49m left to spend on a leftback and perhaps something else? That's assuming no more sales, either.

I don't know if it's that good business, maybe I'm just being too pessimistic. But that seems to me like quantity rather than quality. Tottenham spent this kind of money last summer on some nice names and look what happened.

We'll see. At least we've bought more names who have performed in the PL already.

I don't know what that means 'look what happened' with Tottenham. They dropped 3 points total in a year in which their management was shuffled around and really had no direction, and a few PL teams had a resurgence (Everton and Liverpool specifically). Not bad considering they lost the best player in the league from the year before.

What Liverpool really lacked this campaign was depth in the first place (and it will now be especially important with the addition of the CL), and Rodgers has a very specific direction he's taking the team in. I think it's also good business getting the signings done early so there will be time to ingrain his philosophy as well as establish chemistry.

it's a lot of decent player who still have to prove that they belong to the top. The fact that you dont have established top players in your squad just makes it looks odd. but i think it will be fine.

I think there are some proven top players in the side, but there are also some young guys ready to break out and build on some already impressive showings. I still think Liverpool will be better this year than last as long as they sort out the defence and Lovren is a good step in that direction.

Basically at break even point. We still need a LB and Moreno is £20m. Sell possibly some of Skrtel/Agger, Reina, Adorjan, Coates, Lucas, Johnson, Kelly, Coady, plus deadwood youth and that should cover the Moreno fee.

We still haven't touched any of the money we had available for this summer. (£60m reportedly or whatever it was).

Marquee signing is still a possibility and we've got the whole August to focus on it.

I dont think this question has a striaght forward answer...we may get up someon or we may not. We will never pay absurd wages like other clubs can. The only way it may happen is some opportunistic move. Like Özil to Arsenal last summer or even Suarez to Liverpool...we would have to wait if Liverpool can find such a player who is in such a position, where we can beat our competition.
