It seems there is an incredible mutual respect between him and LvG. He is looking extremely confident out there.
Part of this great display could also be cause of the RvP factor and captaincy armband. Whatever the cuase its lookng good for the club. Thumbs up

Rooney on his day is great, that's not the problem, it's his consistency. Hopefully he can have a good season next year, if he does him and RvP will be unstoppable.

Good lesson for the youngsters. Roma brought on their A players 2nd half, while we had more youngsters, especially in defence, and the gap in quality shifted in Roma's favour.

But given the harsh conditions (altitude, humidity) I thought our boys did well.

Another win. 2 for 2, so good so far.
