Re: World Cup Flops
About Hazard, he really needs to find ways to evolve his game. Right now everything he does is predicated on him getting the ball to his feet and going on 1v1 on the edge of the box to either cross or shoot. When he does it and it works as vs Russia, it's brilliant, for the vine.
Other than that, his movements are very very poor. I keep saying that. That's why he cant compare with Neymar to me. Nerman off the ball, moving and finding pockets of space to be dangerous in, is a freak. That's the true talent of Neymar and what allows him to make the difference so much for brazil.
Maybe he has it easy because he played as a forward so much. But that's just what he needs to be doing.

Re: World Cup Flops
Let see for me the flops of the tourney are:
Casillas: Cost Spain's qualification, mostly.
Rakitic/Modric: Both invisible in the Mexico game.
Capello: Wouldn't use Dzagoev and Kherzhakov
VDB: Didn't field Diego Lopez.
Prandelli: Just wow. Made horrible desicions vs Costa Rica.
Suarez: Went for some Italian food that costed them against Colombia.
Cristiano Ronaldo Witch Doctor Guy: Ronaldo scored on Ghana.

HE HAS BEEN A F**KIN FLOP . No 1 my xxx casillas what to say end of cycle. Feel sorry for him . He has won it all . No desire left i guess . Ramos is the no 1 defender in the world according to some people omg. alves has been poor . Hazard too expected more from. Him. Pepe the xxxx xxxx showed his true colours.

Ronaldo was a flop. He certainly wasn't THE flop of the tournament nor top 3 or 5 but a flop? Yes, absolutely.

Oh wait, I forgot to include Messi to the flop list. He hasn't done squat since Group stages. And all those fans thinking that he was reserving his Stamina for the World Cup, I wonder what they think of him now. "Oh wait guise, Messi is reserving himself for CL that' s why Messi hasn't scored past the group stages."

but if we're gonna talk about " THE " flop of the tournament, ronaldo doesn't belong in the discussion imo.
On performances he does.
The only thing to counter it, would be his injuries.

Ronaldo's flop performance would be against US, I think. Certainly could've done a little more, I feel. His shots were just inaccurate, mostly.

Re: World Cup Flops
Ronaldo was by far the biggest flop of the tournament. I'm not buying the injury excuse either. He got into great positions in all 3 group games but failed to take his chances. We're about to play the semi-finals yet he still has the 3rd most shots in the World Cup behind Di Maria and Benzema
Modric, Casillas, Xavi, Alonso, Ramos, Akinfeev, Aguero, Higuain, Yaya Toure, Mikel, Fred & Hulk also contenders.
Not flops but massive disappointments: Pogba, Balotelli, Hazard, Benzema, Di Maria, Kovacic, Gotze, Ozil

how is benzema a massive disappointment you clown ? he got two back to back man of the match , scored 3 , assisted 2 , and was involved in one other goal.
lol at putting him in the same category as hazard ..

Fakenaldo, not even close, most chances created in group phase by his team mates, yet scored only one goalie blunder

yeah , getting your team past the first round and being involved in almost every single goal of the 8 they scored doesn't matter at all .. another Gil gem.
and just like the rest of the french team, he came to life in the last 30 minutes of the nigeria match and could've scored if it weren't for enyama .
he was also involved in the second goal.
stick to making excuses for why your boy eden assard flopped yet again for the national team.

Never claimed he flopped did I? I just expected more from someone who was on fire in the group stages. Stop getting your panties in a bunch mate.

Eden Hazard is a massive flop. For some one who was going to explode (for a while now) he just ghosted. Started mostly because of his name.

I agree tbh. If someone could make a lengthy counter argument against this opinion I would be very much interested in reading it tbh. Too bad no one thinks otherwise.
No one.

Re: World Cup Flops
Diego Costa and CR were worse than Hazard imo
I was very disappointed from Cassano .
He played all the 2nd half against Costa Rica and in 2nd half against Uruguay and he did NOTHING . He seemed a former player.
DEM useless words for the whole year " Cassano Must go in NT "
