Is not a phantom freekick
Anyways, his interview is fine and clean apart from this. I don't have an issue with it. Nick just went overboard in his analysis, way to reach for the stars lmao
Hope whoever sniped Dybala from the crowd gets a retroactive ban from UEFA tbh. Went down like he got hit with a rocket ffs.
is this the part where you fake a brain injury before Liverpool spreads United's cheeks open tomorrow?
between watching Mourinho's football weekly and reading GL, I don't think I need to fake a brain injury. Fairly sure my cognitive functions are legitimately impaired. Lawsuit coming @Unique soon. Weren't you studying Law or something? you can represent me IMO.

Yeah I got nothing, a bit of a dick move on Poch's part.

the only referee influence in the game I remember was from Juve being denied a stonewall penalty
and then maybe Dybala being given a phantom freekick with like 30 seconds left in the game
You're not missing anything, no.
Doc wrote:rincon wrote:Imagine the comments if that penalty not called had been for them.
Not just that, imagine if Kane's offside header that hit the post went in. I wonder if the talk of refs would have surfaced.
BT commentators kept saying how Spurs were 'unlucky' that header didn't go in. NO. NO. NO. That's not an acceptable way of phrasing an opportunity gained from a whole yard offside.
Like if a player makes a clear dive, and they get a penalty and miss it, it's not 'unlucky'

Yes because he's being called a fraud based on one game lol.

when Conte win the PL in 2017, is his squad better than Spurs' squad at the time?

How could anyone argue that he has been a long term fraud? Literally turned Spurs into one of the best defenses in the league and consistent top 4 finisher. Yes he still has a lot to prove in the CL, but he's had some bad luck in the draws and refereeing, hardly enough to call him a "fraud".

yes, mainly because he had the best player in the league and a wonderful midfielder in Kante.

He has a net spend of 50m£ since he took over in 2014. They literally signed no one this summer. Spurs were mostly a laughing stock before Pochettino took over and with a limited budget he made them consistent top 4 finishers and even challenged for title 1 season. What more can you ask from a Tottenham manager? If it wasn't for Pochettino they would probably still be on Everton's level.

I'm not arguing that, you're acting like they are saying this based on one game.
They are not, same for the people saying similar stuff in the Tuchel thread. When someone says something like that it's never a one game thing.

When afforded time, his quality in players development truly shine. But at the very top trophies matter more than player development. If you can do both then you are Pep. If he can just win even a league cup at this point lol...

Poch: "Again we’re going to have the debate whether a trophy will take the club to the next level. I don’t agree with it. It only builds your ego. The most important thing for Tottenham right now is to always be in the top four."
Atleast my team doesn’t have this guy as my manager.

Trying to make Tottenham into a winning trophies sort of team was basically an impossible task so I can't blame Poch for not succeeding at that. It's Tottenham after all.

Not sure if Pochettino or Wenger
Those comments should put big teams on alert. That defeatist will only get him jobs at clubs without ambition
