Describe the season in a single phrase

It could be the general football season which combines PL,Serie A, La Liga, bundesliga etc (relevant to someone who watches a lot of those)

It could be the season which is relevant to your league/club.

A phrase rather than a word or a sentence as a word might be too short and a sentence too long.

IF you want, you can explain your choice but that is not important.

For me, I'll describe the general football season with..

"A Historic season with Drama Galore"

I witnessed Atletico Madrid winning La Liga which itself is absolutely huge. After that I saw Madrid reach the CL final which is the first time since 2001. Then I saw Arsenal end their 9 year trophy drought. I saw two leagues who were both decided on the final day. And there was some absolute crazy drama everywhere from PL to La Liga to Serie A

The horror, the fun, the disappointment...

(RWO started disastrous as usual, but then managed the best Rückrunde of Regionalliga West but it didn't save the season and we ended up 3rd when we'd have needed to be first to get into the promotion round...)

the good:
atletico won the la liga

the bad:
boca won nothing despite riquelme's good performance

the ugly:
riquelme have not been selected for wc despite his superb creativity

Oh wait, there not there anymore, Bayern just bought 'em all
Jack Wilshere was hurt again, and his progress for now has stalled

Come Toffees and Scousers, from Merseyside
Liverpool lost out on the title, after one Steven Gerrard slide
Diego Costa brought La Liga to the not-so royal Madrid side
RIP Tito, for you we're all prayin'
City won once again, the blue moon turned the tide
Oh the times, they are a changin'

losing 0-0 draw, Benfica's curse continues to be cast
Spurs had a ton of Bale money, and they blew it real fast
Boyzis can predict the future, Moyes wants to forget the past
The order of last years table's are fadin'
And the first one now, could next season be last

Pfff. Schalke's production line is already working on the next batch. Bayern can't possibly buy as many as they produce :coffee:
