I think Sevilla would want to start a bidding war to try and get as close to that €25mil release clause as they can, though £16mil plus Suso would be a very good deal for them. It'll be a shame when/if Alberto leaves, though, since I don't believe he's good enough defensively to make the step-up right now.

Angel Di Maria claims interest has been shown in his services and has refused to rule out a summer exit at Real Madrid.

The Argentina international is tied to a contact in Spain until 2018, but appreciates that anything is possible when a transfer window opens.

With his focus locked on the World Cup finals, he says he is giving little thought to his future at present.

Di Maria has, however, been linked with several Premier League clubs and Real's resolve to keep a player who helped them to a 10th European Cup triumph in 2013/14 may be tested over the coming months.

The 26-year-old midfielder told Marca: "I am not going to lie, I know that there are clubs that want to sign me and can match Real Madrid's demands. But that's up to my representatives and the club.

"I will stay if the club wants me to stay.

"I am not thinking about my future now. We will see what Madrid have in mind, whether they want me to stay or leave.

"I am happy at Madrid. I had a great season and always had everybody's support. But sometimes you don't have a choice, even when you want to stay yourself."

Di Maria was reported to have come close to quitting Santiago Bernabeu in 2013, but he insists that was not the case and that he always intended to form part of Carlo Ancelotti's plans.

He added: "Many things have been said about me. Sometimes it hurts when you see all the rumours that you are leaving. These are difficult moments for a player. I remained calm, though.

"I spoke with Ancelotti last summer. I wanted to stay and he wanted me to stay as well. He told me that he counted on me and it was up to me from then on.

"I have grown a lot under Ancelotti. He got the best out of me. Things have gone well and I made the right decision to stay."

Xherdan Shaqiri admits he may have to leave Bayern Munich and says a move to England 'would be an option'.

The talented Switzerland international forward has spent the last two seasons at the Allianz Arena, with Bayern having prevailed in the scramble for his signature back in 2012.

The 22-year-old faces stiff competition for places at the German champions, though, and was restricted to just 10 Bundesliga starts in the 2013/14 campaign.

Shaqiri acknowledges that he now has a big decision to make, with it possible that he may have to look elsewhere for regular game time.

A man who has been heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League in the past told 20 Minuten: "It's clear that I cannot continue like this. If nothing changes, I will have to make some changes myself.

"I want to play in the important games as well and not just in the Bundesliga. I don't want to go through another year like this.

"I only want to play for a major club. The Champions League is important to me. We will see what happens.

"England would be an option. If I were to leave Bayern, it will be for a foreign club. But it will have to be a club challenging for the title."
