Still can't believe Hazard didn't track that run for the 1st goal. Different game if he stayed focused. Margins and all that I guess.

Hope Simeone, Courtois, Costa & Tiago deliver in the final.

They played a great game today. Better than us all over the pitch and overall the better side over both legs. This is a great team and Simeone is going to be an amazing coach for a long time.

We had a good run. Last English team in Europe yet again. Third time in a row, this time.

We'll be back next year with a stronger squad and when we've plugged some holes in this team. Excited for what next season will look like. Good luck to Atletico, well deserved.

That creep Abramovich will throw +£100m at the "problem" and hope it's dealt with.

Great for some.  Rolling Eyes

None, with that squad (3rd in the EPL, semi-special manager) I would say they outperformed this CL season.

LB- Azpi need to play his best position
CM- Ramires or sadly Lampard at his age are not good enough for a top side to be regulars. lol we have a much better winning record without Ramires, says a lot about that scrub.
ST- no explanation really needed.

If we do sign those players, there should be no reason for Mou to play such shit cautious lineups.

Actually, you might have to explain that one to me. Chelsea have 3 very talented strikers at their disposal (each with varying levels of talent, admittedly) but 3 talented strikers nonetheless, plus an untapped gem in Lukaku out on loan. Why does Chelsea need to blow a fortune on ANOTHER striker?

Absolutely enjoyed this Very Happy After recents results, this was a happy one.

Chelsea showed they have no idea after going behind Lol! They only know how to park the bus and counter, vs a team like Atletico, with no play maker there, they couldnt do anything.

Mou's face all game, and Simone being Mou-like, priceless  Twisted Evil

Atletico really letting us enjoy their team. They are so complete, able to park bus, but also press, theit tempo is always amazing for the whole 90 mins, they can also play some great football, physical, counter or not, etc., hope they can beat Real in the final!!!

WHAT needs to be explained about that? Lemme ask you this, would you be content with having 3 Girouds for the whole of next season? Answer honestly.

We also fixed the CM situation for the most part by buying Matic but playing without him in the CL was almost like playing the way we were playing early in the season.

Ideal summer would be LB, CM(ball playing one that can complement Matic) and a ST.

So you're saying that Torres, a Euro and World Cup winner, Eto'o, a CL winner and Demba Ba are ALL Giroud level? Laughing

Are you guys using tactics to lure the other into making a mistake while posting? If so, I think you have all lost (or won) - I'm not quite sure which one... :coffee

I agree to an extent.

Giroud at his best and in his prime, is on the same level as an Eto'o and Torres who are both about to retire due to being passed their best football.

Demba Ba is better than Giroud though.
